I just finished painting my new Mk12 Holland clone. It's a brand new 6920 as the basis with a Douglas barrel from HCS. I sighted it in with 55gr Wolf Gold and I was actually able to shoot two consecutive 1" groups with that ammo and the factory GI trigger. SSA trigger and some accuracy tests with 77 gr SMK handloads should be happening next week.

Good groups at 100 yards when I did my part!  Just dropped the SSA into this lower and until today only shot AR's with standard parts kit triggers.  What a difference a nice trigger makes and it definitely closed up my groups some.  Can't wait to stretch it out a little bit.

Probably one of my favorite of all time. The grooves in the URX3 are still pretty kick ass.

I had similar results with that ammo. Every 10th shot would be about an inch off.

Are you using two offset cat tails as ghost ring sights?

Looking at them, they're basically ghost rings. A neat idea too.

No front sight post, even. Sight alignment is achieved by simply lining up the two apertures, and precision is achieved by perfectly centering the front sight’s aperture in the rear sight’s aperture. Basically, it’s two ghost rings.

The stock is off of a Ruger Precision Rifle.  Had "Ruger" and their emblem ground off the riser and refinished.  I am using a V7 heavy Receiver Extension.

You couldnt when i was looking earlier this year.  I found a guy on GB that was selling some takeoff parts, I emailed him and asked about the stock.  I picked mine up for less than $100 for sure, but dont remember exactly what I paid.

I hadn't seen these before - seems like a nice lightweight option for offset backup sights. I just ordered a pair to try out on my AR-15. Thanks for posting this!
