I was out at Bald Mountain yesterday. Hit a spike horn with a 334 Rainer HP out of a .50 Beowulf yesterday at 5pm. I've never seen anything drop so hard or so fast. These new cartridge restrictions (or non-restrictions) are the fucking cat's pajamas!
In a nutshell, .35 caliber or larger, case length between 1.2 and 1.8 inches, straight walled cartridges only. Allows your common revolver chamberings like .44 and .357 mag, and also big bore ARs like the .50BW and the .450BM. ...Now get off your computer and go kill something.

Marlin 1894 Link Rossi R92 Link Without getting into something somewhat specialized like .50 Beowulf, the .44 Mag. is one of the best choices there is. I'd prefer the Marlin but either one is good. |

Absolutely zero wrong with a .44 mag lever gun, and I would definitely opt for the Marlin out of the two.

If it meets your regs a 444 marlin would be awesome I owned a winchester timber carbine it was damn accurate and packed a hell of a punch
