I couldn't afford the fuel to keep that ole gal running.
This was pulling an 8 shank disc ripper about 14" deep in a 9530 IIRC.  18.5 gal/hr

Not bad!  I typically see .9-1.1 GPH at idle in the big tractors

And an aftermarket hood once all the deletes are done and tuner flashed. The hood on my 5075 is so much taller than every other tractor I'm used to.
Lots of loader view obstruction

I can't complain. They've always treated my right.

I honestly wanted a Kubota, but they were more willing to work with me and actually acted like they wanted to sell me something.

I dont have any complaints with them either. I went with the Kubota because of price and availability. Ive been waiting for a 1025r TLB for over 2 months. They have no ETA. Kubota dealer in Mt Sterling has done me right so far

Nice little tractor!  The new BX 80 series has a lot of nice features over the Deere.

Our Deere showed up at the dealer yesterday.  Hoping it will be set up and ready for pickup this weekend.

I have a 2006 BX23 and really like it. Bought mine used. Did have one substantial problem almost right away but it was easily fixed for now.

Brother has a BX25 and seems to like it I think.

Kubota is a lot of tractor for the money.  If we were looking at the 1 series I would have been very tempted to go orange over green.  The new 2 series from Deere had a few features that I really wanted that are not available on the B3350.  Thay was worth the price premium to me.

I like the loader control on the 2017 2 series better, the twin touch pedals are a lot more ergonomic to me than the treadle on the Kubota.  The Deere was built a lot heavier, weighs over 500 lbs more than the Kubota.  The loader comes off much easier, although the Kubota has a very slightly higher loader capacity.  The new Command Cut mid mount mower on the 2 series is just flat out awesome and leaps and bounds better than the mid mount mower on my dads new B2650.  I love the auto throttle feature on the Deere as well.  Dealer support was also a factor.  I go right by a Deere dealer everyday for work but it's a good 45 min to an hour for to the nearest Kubota dealer depending on traffic.

Dont get me wrong, I think Kubota makes a great tractor I was just willing to spend more to get the features I wanted.

Funny you mention that, when I'm not in steel toes I wear a pair of green Anderson Bean boots

ETA:  Just realized the next pair of steel toes in getting are green as well . When it comes time for a UTV purchase it'll be orange, I swear!

Just curious, I like green tractors too.

I grew up with John Deere. I bought the Kubota because that's what I came across that I liked for the price first. No regrets, I think it's a great tractor.

I just got my 1025 for 20,000 with loader, 54D MMM, 54" front snowblower, and ballast box.   That was the total OTD price, delivered to my house.  Kubota was pretty much the same price, but I liked the quick attach MMM On the Deere better

That seems like a great price for a brand new Kubota TLB. Got my used BX23 with MMM for about $12700 used with 600 hours on it a couple years ago.

Looks like Kubota's 0% interest ends June 30.  The local dealer says that at the Kubota meeting they went to recently that Kubota ended up giving more incentives than they had planned, so the 0% interest deal may not continue after that.

I've been planning on picking one up.

Trying to decide between the 2501 and 4701.  Main task will be bushhogging 14 acres, but also smoothing a driveway, and hauling stuff around the farm.  Also plowing down the road.  The dealer says that the 2501 will do everything I need, and can be had for around 20,000 with a trailer, FEL, box blade, 5' bush hog.  The 4701 will do everything faster, and is almost 2x the horse power and 8 inches wider, but 12K more for the same setup (except all the implements are bigger)

Not sure which one to get, but have to decide by tomorrow.  I'm sure I'll enjoy either.

This past weekend I removed the backhoe and FEL from the BX23 for the first time. I got it with a MMM when I bought it a couple years ago, but haven't needed it. Took it off right away and I've only been using the FEL and backhoe so far. Have a use for the mower and I've been itching to try it out. Kind of fun, it feels like a completely different tractor.

To paraphrase Clint Eastwood - "A man's got to know his tractor's limitations."

I've been having a bunch of fun with my 2025R and doing a lot of jobs I never would have done by hand.
