No reply from GoatBoy yet, so we're waitin'... Are we still waiting??? I know Goatboy is around, cause I saw him in the LaRue Dillos thread. |

does this also include long sleeve t-shirts.
I would be interested in one black and one blue long sleeved shirt. (no hood) Not a big fan of hats The printer would require a minimum order of 100 items
does this total pertain to the entire order or per item. Just wondering. I would be interested once this is approved. thank you |
100 total, which would be no problem with what everyone has already indicated. I emailed twice, and got no reply yet.

Im down for about 2 shirts and a hoody. Maybe more. I say that if there is a way we make new MOHT shirts with new design but keep the AR15 front sight logo the same. Even NOT use AR15.COM if thats what we must do. Because ARFCOM or no ARFCOM...I still love my AR15.

IM Ed Avilla. I'm told Ed has an insider line of communication to GoatBoy.
It's been my experience that Ed will return an IM, POST HASTE. PDQ PRONTO. |
Will one of you guys try contacting GB? I don't want to be a pest, so maybe if each of us is only a little annoying...
I'd say no answer is the same as GB saying no..... but before saying that.... I should have asked, did you try dropping Ed Avilla an IM ?
What's the radio station in St. Louis that uses a pig with sunglasses as it's logo ? Maybe we put the pig in the middle of bolt logo and call it our own, specific to Mizzoura HTF ? Mizzoura Bacon and Bolt logo, doesn't get much better, does it ? |
I believe the station you are speaking of is KSHE 95.
Sounds like an interesting idea. |
It's normal for it to take a while getting a response, even when I contact Ed too. I think someone else trying would avoid the not-another-one feeling about my emails.
RJT is right about KSHE, and we'd have to be careful about their copyright. |

Make the Bolt a little different and change a few things about the Bacon to make it specifically us. Last time I checked we were " a crowd unlike any other, by different mothers ". Besides, sending a header on your next text stating we're putting a snout in his bolt. Might just get his attention. Outside the Box. |
Ok, I'll confess. I did send a little email about 3 weeks ago. Just asking if there was a reason that he had not responded to Go-Gops request. And it appears that he has not made contact with Go-Gop or myself. Tried to keep it low key and not anymore confronting than needed to be. But was thinking like you guys that maybe a few different people hitting him up might loosen him up.

1911,
I understand that; I was just sayin' be careful, and what you posted is an example of being careful. Paul, Thanks. |
Screw ARFCOM permission. I say we go ahead with our own logos and stuff.

Yeah why not think up something of our own. Missouri Black Rifle Shooters, or something along those lines.
BTW. Have any of you seen the Cycling BFL shirt in the Group/Bulk buys section in the EE. Looks like Goatboy gave permission to use the BFL to them.
The you'd be doing a group buy, which still needs permission (and defeats the purpose IMO).
Do you still have the approval on the original run of shirts?
Lets stick with that format and run with it. |
Approvals are for each run, individually. We cannot proceed without the official OK from GB.
Maybe this is why he won't answer;

But those shirts are all teh ghey and worst of all they do not have Missouri on them.
I'm just guessing here. I'm not the only one who has asked him, and not gotten a reply.
You know, I realise I can't really compare what I did to this, but I have and do administer forums, did IT for a company with 500+ employees, etc... I _always_ replied to an inquiry. Even if it was a the luser asking for the 15th time why he can't just have his own little inkjet printer instead of walking all 20ft to the workgroup laser, a simple reply was given.
I'm just saying, I realize he is a busy guy trying to keep this place under control in addition to life, but a reply shouldn't be to much to ask for. |

Pricing is okay, but not what we were doing here. And, there will be no donation once we buy from the store. Too bad only t-shirts are available. |

Just an update. GoGop contacted me about this and I'm currently trying to gt in touch with GB..he's at SHOT and is ignoring me...however I have Edsr's cell number...*evil grin*

Quoted: We used them to keep in touch with each other at SHOT in Orlando. IIRC..it cost me 65¢ a text message..Quoted: Just an update. I'm in for something.... I would like to know what color they are going to be and heavy the shirts are. Do the shirts run big or small? Sorry to be APITA. My preference is GREY... I know Black popular, but it is hotter than crap in the summer.
this is still on my radar..GB is playing catch up from SHOT..but I'm hounding him.
I'll put together what I already have, and send you an email.
Thanks Juan. Edit - Email sent. |

OK guys, GB said we can do another run of the same thing if we want, but we also have the option to work with him on getting it done through the site. If we do it here, we can tweak the design we have, or make an a new one. If we make a new design it can have the BFL in it, and it would be available all the time through the ARF Store. He also said he scale it, so the back design could also be shrunk down for the smaller front logo. That would allow us to put our logo on the front, and pick something else that they already have (like zombies) for the back (or the other way around).
The cost is a little higher, and there's hoodies or hats yet, but if we did it this way it would be available all the time. I'm OK with it either way, so you guys let me know what you think and we'll get rollin' on it. For reference, Build Your Own T-Shirt page; http://store.ar15.com/store/product.html?cat=1&prod=264 |
How does this affect our Wounded Warrior contributions? If that remains unchanged, I'd just as soon have a more "exclusive" shirt that we put out ourselves. Then if we put up a design that's available for the site, that would be something to fall back on.
Just my opinion, but I like our current design. That's not to say a BFL incorporated somewhere isn't a good thing too. Gilt/Joe |
If we go through the site, the WW donations would be up to individuals to do on their own, but if we run like we did before the donation will be the same as before.
I would be down for a shirt either way. I didn't have a first run shirt and I am ready for one now.
I am ok with any design as long as it is high quality and won't fade out after a wash or two. |
I would love to have something that only we have and not everybody.
Perhaps we can do one special run just for us and have another kind / type in the Store so that if we need a present or just a new shirt we can go to the store. I guess we should start a poll and see what the outcome is. Either way I look forward to getting my 1st shirt. |
Sorry, I am going to just sit back and wait for a hoodie.
I do like the design that was on the back of the last run of T's. Big outline of the state of MO looking like a flag with two ARs. Dont want any bio-hazard or skulls or any other signs of death and mayhem. |
