Regarding the legality of it today, it's not illegal to use it as a stock. It wasn't designed as a stock and wasn't sold as a stock so it's good to go. No different that AR15 pistol braces.

The 17 pictured above isn't my carry gun anymore and has been retired to T&E and training only. So it's fun to try out new products and let people know what I think. I don't see much of a practical purpose for this brace for the average civilian but it's cool and fun so why not?

I know 90% of people who probably buy one expect to use it as a stock when no one is looking, but even if you did that, it looks way too short to be even remotely effective. So that leaves resting it on your cheek or arm, and based on the videos I've watched it looks like resting it on the cheek would be extremely annoying (with the recoil causing it to bounce back and hit you in the cheek after each shot), and resting on the side of the forearm just doesn't seem to make any difference (although if I bought one, that's how I'd attempt to use it). Also, if you actually used one of these for conceal carry wouldn't it just add more complication to the user in a stressful situation... and what if you accidentally used it as a stock in the shooting, would the court try to crucify you for it? Maybe I fail to see the advantage of a pistol brace because I've never used one, I don't know. I'm not knocking you for owning it or anything, I'm just curious if it really is worth it, because I like the look of it but don't know if I could justify spending $260 if there isn't much benefit.

Since this is a pic thread...

Awesome, thanks. That's exactly the kind of answer I was looking for.

EDIT: I see you're from Arizona. I miss it out there so much, so many good places to shoot and so many awesome gun shops. I live in a small town in Alabama now, used to live in Glendale AZ. There is nothing around here like out there... hope to come back some day.

Fit and finish is good, it’s solid. When I was CONUS all my mags were Glock and had extensions everything works really well.

I have 10rd magpul mags (cause of state law) they are a little hard to seat when full (not a problem really if you do things with a purpose) and are kinda lazy coming out. Again, not an issue if you do things with a purpose.

Everything is new gun has less than 250rds through it and I like it a lot. First Glock I’ve had in a long time where I didn’t have the grip reduced and textured. Also first one I haven’t done a full trigger job on, the flat face trigger works well. I really like the way it’s setup. Factory night sights are boring and could use a Battlehook upgrade.

That is great work one of the cleanest I’ve seen. My little fat hand doesn’t do well with a 26 grip but I borrowed a friends chopped 19 and really enjoyed it. My favorite is a cut down 17 to 19

People post pictures of double stack glocks with optics, light and compensator

People - " hey cool glock that thing is awesome"

People post pictures of single stack glocks with optics light and compensator

People - " what the fuck is that ugly shit why do you have all that on there"

I'd say about 80% of the time I read a post in this sub forum and it instinctively causes me to roll my eyes, you're the one who wrote it.

I just got the slide back today and got it put back together. I will be shooting them next week.

I will say, the 26 has always been my go-to carry gun that I always go back to. The RMR addition has made no change in concealment or comfort that I can tell ( have been wearing it all day around the house to try it out.)

I think I've found my groove.

Had enough parts to piece together another G19 slide. Guess I need a new frame now.

This was a blem slide, the tooling was dull and unable to get a good chamfer under the serrations, so I am gonna have to file it down or its gonna look like that opening rave scene from Blade when I shoot it.

added one of those Kagwerks slide releases. Interested to see how well these work. So far, when I release the slide, the serrations are rubbing my thumb and it's not pleasant.

I just got back my ATEI milled slide and I love it. Fine craftsmanship and it was worth the wait.

My new Glock 45. After being issued both a gen 4 19 and 17, and swearing that I would never personally own a Glock, the 45 changed my mind.  It gives my man sized hands enough grip real estate with the 17 size grip, and the lower reciprocating mass of the 19's shorter slide and comfort of carrying (especially when seated)...it really is the best of both worlds. The gen 5's made me actually like Glock...
