MSG Iron Blooded Orphans is probably one of the best Gundam series of the last decade. OST was great too.

Sakamoto and Joker Game are the best I've seen this season.  Bungou Stray Dogs is right up there as well.

Kiznaiver seems to be Trigger trying to make a show that isn't totally insane.  So far, it hasn't gone off the rails.

Mayoiga (The Lost Village) is just... bad.  It's ostensibly a mystery show, but the pacing is so fast and the characters are so unbelievable, one-dimensional, and downright insane that it quickly devolved into a nonsensical comedy that left me wondering WTF I just watched. [SPOILER] They even drove the only sane person in the show to try and kill everyone within the first 20 minutes.

I've always looked at the wiki page of the anime when series order confused me.  Has worked so far, for me.

and my vote is chronological for when it came out.

The most recent stuff is basically a reboot... with different origins for the characters.

So watched the 13 episodes of Ajin, seemed pretty decent. I hope there's more coming, Classroom Assassin is pretty good too, watched what's available. It's not near time for my shift to end, quick, someone suggest something else.

Re_Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu also looks interesting, but I'm wondering about the danger of it falling into the 'endless eight' mire that Haruhi did.

Hundred looks like another high school battle series.  First episode even has me wondering if the main character's roommate will turn out to be a mostly forgotten childhood friend that is pretending to be a guy for some unknown reason.
Good news is that Re:Zero is 25 episodes

Two episodes in, and still repeating the first day.

The first day appears to have been completed.

Which leaves the question "Does he keep reviving at the start point on the first day, or does he switch to reviving at a new start point on the second day?"

I'm hoping for a new start point on each day, but I can see how an author could mess with the mental state of the main character, (and the audience) by making it random as to which day he revives at, after clearing the first day.

Started watching Togainu No Chi, looked cool at first, but then I quickly realized this was full of faggots and I just can't watch it. If it wasn't for all the gay shit, it would be a pretty cool anime.

If you haven't watched a lot of anime, here's a tip.

The yaoi/BL/gay(male) anime tend to use an art style that is common to anime made for teenage girls.  Pay attention to how the male characters are drawn, and it can give you an early warning that maybe this show isn't for you.

Attractive Art Style?

Most of those are like harem anime, but with dudes.

Speaking of harem, I always pick the chick with the most agreeable personality and big tits with the least amount of drama/baggage.

Steampunk zombies.

Apparently, in the steampunk world, zombies shamble along when there isn't much to do, but switch to fast moving zombies when somebody pisses them off (or they smell blood).  Forget shots to the brain.  The way to kill them is to either behead them or shoot their armor plated heart.

Kinda weird, but it's steampunk.

Not sure what the art style is called, but every time I've stumbled onto a yaoi anime, the male characters have been drawn in that style.

The problem with the girl with the least amount of drama/baggage, is that it could be that she's just better at hiding her drama/baggage until she gets her claws into some guy, then she reveals her drama queen nature (kinda like my ex-wife).

Not sure if it's been mentioned in this thread yet, but Attack on Titan is one of the coolest anime's I have watched in awhile. Quite odd but at the same time awesome.

Check it out if you haven't, I think eps 1-25 have been English dubbed so far.

I'm starting to wonder if Suzuki riders are viewed as badly as the show implies.

Last time I did much riding (dirt/trail), was in the late 1970s, though I do have a couple bike projects waiting for me to have the time and money to do something with them (neither one is a Suzuki, by the way)..

On episode 22 of Attack on Titan, and I'm sure hoping there's more than 3 episodes left, because I don't see how they can end this in 3. It is a little odd, but good! I wish I knew it carried on for like 40 or so episodes...pretty sure I recall someone saying 25 though. :(

I think I noticed "Black Lagoon" on a list of dubbed stuff on a site I'm using earlier.. I guess that's next. Nice to get paid to mostly just sit and watch Anime!

Black Lagoon is very good.

The first season of Jormungand (set in the same world as Black Lagoon) is good.

The second season of Jormungand got retarded.

Just started watching Bakuon!! today. Awesome.

There may be stronger brand loyalty over in Japan, but I don't really see it here in the states. The only bike-brand zealots I know of are HD, and even those are few and far between. There's a lot of jabs at each other, but it's all stuff in good fun, not serious. (I'll poke fun at a HD for having no power, and they'll poke right back at my Duc for having iffy electrics. Yes, I absolutely laughed at the jab at the Monster.)

I do know a lot more gear-brand zealots - generally either Dainese, or REV'IT!, but sometimes Alpinestars. Or the Arai guys.

Now, I can see any Suzuki fans that are around these days being more hardcore, though - Suzuki, who once brought out leading bikes like the original GSX-R, hasn't really been doing anything interesting lately. They're really trailing the pack these days. But with their recent re-entry into MotoGP, who knows, maybe we'll start seeing some more cool stuff from them again.

That seems like it would fit with comparing them to HD zealots.
