now, you know you have to watch this movie.
Avenger Grimm... starring Casper Van Diem. What a great film, the acting, the sets, the costumes... I pretty much thought there was about to be a soft core porn starting up sometime during it. I made it about 15 minutes. Horrible movie. |

"Only the lonely" was a fantastic romantic comedy with John Candy, Anthony Quinn who even old looked tough as nails, Ally Sheedy from "the breakfast club" all grown up and hot.
And lastly, the final film of the great beauty Maureen O'Hara... the role was rote for her after she had retired and came back especially for it. Much to the delight of any watching it.

Then again I find pretty much everyone on that show that has gone through puberty lives in their own private hell that they've created for themselves due to their own actions so it's kind of hard to feel bad for any of them. Or maybe I'm just a sociopath.

I gave 'Travelers' a try, but I couldn't really get into it. I threw in the towel shortly after episode 4.
I'm now watching 'The Blacklist.' Much more entertaining. The female lead is hot, but at least once an episode I am reminded of Charlie Sheen's line in 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off.'

Turbo kid, it's like an 80's flick or mad Max on a BMX as one reviewer wrote. It starts slow but gets real good. Also I enjoyed the og shameless and Californication.

Black Mirror
Kind of Twilight Zone esque but closer to actual reality but just in the future or with a small twist. Series. I happened to start on S3E1. Society is based on how many stars you, as a person, has. Pretty clever concept, imho. Kind of shows the direction we're going with smart phones.

The Manhattan Project has been re-added. High school kid builds a toolbox nuclear bomb to expose the fact that a local plant is refining plutonium-and to see if he can do it. Watch close near the end, one of the snipers is using Accelerator ammo.
