I am confident that war with China is inevitable. So much so, I am of the opinion and advocate for a first strike plan. We should pre-emptively strike China with all our might as every week we delay makes our inevitable losses greater. Taiwan, at the very least should be our main defensive line. Any attack on Taiwan, South Korea or any other Pacific ally should receive the whole response.

There will be no technology race, and we'll be better off for it. |

There will be no technology race, and we'll be better off for it. That’s a fantasy, and not a very good one. Nobody is willingly going to revert to a preindustrial society, and nobody would like it if they did - especially while letting China advance past us. The Information Age isn’t going anywhere. China is going to move on Taiwan at some point, and if we let them, we’ll be much worse off as a result. |

We just spent 20 years at war with illiterate drug addicted goat headers. And lost.
Considering our current political situation. Fighting a billion people who are educated with a huge industrial base is a terrible idea. |

They'll never be Jefferson democracies. Afghanistan is the graveyard of empires. |
