When I first got access to the internet and went to some gun forums, I found out Levi’s had contributed to a gun control organization. I’d been a big fan of 501s for years. I sent an email letting them know I was surprised that such a historical American company would be attempting to undermine a Constitutional right and that I wouldn’t buy their products if they continued to support gun control. Their response was they would continue to support gun control and they didn’t want my money, so we’ve both been happy for the last 30 years. I’ll admit that I wash expecting a reply with that nasty of a tone.

The Haas family owned Levis for years. They are extremely elitist leftist. I met Bob Haas the former CEO at an informal bbq at his Mt Shasta property. It was just after the democrat national convention during the Al Gore days. Bob had just flown back from the convention as they were heavy dem donors. Talking to him then and hearing how left they were killed my desire for anything Levis. Never had any contact after that with him and didn't want to.
