$10K dealer markup never makes or made any sense to me. Golf R is AWD, looks better, .9 seconds faster to 60, and probably nicer in lots of other ways, and easy to find with a manual.

What does a circuit edition get you that a premium doesn't.

Dealer near me had a couple GR premiums and I thought the drivetrains were the same.

Was supposed to be a big snow storm Thursday! I headed over with the new parts and fixed the riding snow blower this morning. That should guarantee rain! Had the 111 with me.

Love the knife obviously, but that sheath is also awesome. Love the texturing and the stamping pattern.

I think this Ward was my second nice Swiss watch going a good ways back - old original logo. It was a "Military" version of the C60 of the time that was fairly different - flat black dial, flat black ceramic bezel, vintage radium style loom as opposed to the standard white.

I still like the way the grind terminates at the ricasso. The big "S" shape is awesome. Shows off skill and attention to detail.

There was a bottom bun under that meat pile. I did not attempt to place the top bun on and eat it with my hands, it would have been six inches tall. Strictly a knife and fork affair.

Looks really good (& hearty!). Is that onions or kraut on top?

I need to step up my brussels game too. What is the sauce on those?

I think a few minor adjustments/additions and it'll be added to the rotation.

Onions on top of smoked beef and bacon. The sprouts were tossed in, IIRC, an onion bacon marmalade.

We all shared a creme brulee for dessert.

I ate about half of my meal, and I'm still stuffed.
