Was on vacation this week so mostly eating out and getting sunburnt. I did play in the surf quite a bit, but not sure that counts as a "workout".
Was able to get 25 minutes/6.6 "miles" on the hotel bike one day. I am finding that I need cardio on a regular basis or I just start to feel like shit. Got home today and as able to sneak in 25 push ups, 30 sit ups, 50 squats and 3 pull ups before having to get back to unpacking and whatnot. 3 gun tomorrow and back to normal life. |

Didn't do hardly anything Monday-Thursday due to business meeting and screwed up travel (Thanks Atlanta )
Did 9 miles on the bike yesterday and 8 more this morning. I need to get back into doing situps, pushups and chin ups (let alone doing weights) on the regular because that was starting to move the needle from "0% upper body strength". Since CW I've really only done cardio. |

Yesterday my team won a golf game (first time I'd ever golfed) and took an airboat ride because I could.

I selfie sticked the fuck out of everyone. And blew the budget.

12.4 miles on the bike in the neighborhood. 18.8mph max speed and average pace of 4:50min/mile. I like to stay at or below the 5min/mile mark so I'm pleased with that. 210 total feet of elevation change and allegedly 515 calories burnt.

This is a shitty day to be sick. Woke up fine and by noon I felt like a truck hit me. Finally feeling a little better. My family went to a friend's private lake and are enjoying fireworks, cooked meat and the drunk people I call friends. I'm sitting home watching Sons of Liberty...Again.

I've been letting my shoulder recuperate after it started giving me problems again. I took a month off and focused on getting my diet right. Right now I'm 1lb heavier than I was when I graduated high school. Tomorrow is going to start a bulk phase and I'll start lifting again. It's going to be light at first, so I'm going to increase my calories to a maintenance level. After a few weeks, I'll bump up the weights and my caloric intake. My protein goals have been 1g per lb of body weight, but that's going up to 1.2g/lb tomorrow.

I need help picking out some plates. Highcom is having a good sale, so I'll probably go with them.
What size do I need? I'm 6'3", so I guess I need the L sapi plates? Multi-curve? I'd prefer level IV, I'm looking at the Guardian 4SAS7. LBT has a good deal on their carrier, probably get that today too. I'm a noob, and completely lost, help me please. |
