Mixed feelings in this. I always love to see Miami lose. But I'd rather them have a better record when we beat them next week.

"I have not spoken to the other Aggie Regents about this, yet; I haven't spoken to the Athletic Director, nor have I spoken to Coach Sumlin about it either. Understand, I'm only ONE of nine votes on the Board of Regents, and the Regents typically do not involve themselves in football schedules. That being said, I am going to advocate that the Aggies play Texas again in the near future. Because of our brutal SEC West schedule, where we play the likes of Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, LSU, etc., the Aggies need some cupcake games to rest and heal. In my view, Texas is just as weak if not weaker than the non-conference games we play, so we may as well play them." View Quote Source of A&M wanting Texas as a cupcake game |

Weather guys are predicting a 70%+ chance of rain for Bama @ Georgia this Saturday. That may hurt Georgia's passing game. Monk No they need to play in Athens in the rain so they will have an excuse when they lose and say "but our coach is a great guy" I think the new coordinators have had a positive impact on the "attitude" of the team. We've seen a lot less trouble with the law and better consistency on the field. We'll see if Georgia is trending up or not Saturday afternoon. |

In no way a prediction, but who I'd like to see win. Clemson, vols, tamu, and bama. Also, whatever cupcake tOSU is playing.

I have no idea what to expect out of Georgia tomorrow. They are playing at home, which normally should be a good thing, but this is still a Richt coached team playing Alabama. Saban coached teams have gotten to where they expect to win these games, Georgia fans (myself included) keep waiting for the worst to happen. I could see this as a 10-pt Georgia win (I think Tide QB play is a liability), but I also could just as easily see Georgia giving up 300+ yard on the ground and losing by 14 or more points. We have seen Georgia in this position before, and the results have not been good. That being said, I just have a feeling that this team is different this year....and I feel the coaching staff is approaching the games a little differently. The X factor is still going to be turnovers, which will only be exacerbated by what could be torrential rains. Question is, does the weather play into Georgia or Bama's favor?

I think OSU is playing the undefeated team that beat the SEC East champs in their house last year. Then they better be careful I think the Ducks should be most worried. CU isn't a team you should look past. I said they'd be a two loss team this year, but I'm gonna have to change that to the fact I think they'll be a three loss team that should be worried about possibly being a four loss team. |

USF played a good game against a strong Memphis team. They certainly look like the AAC champs. Their game against Ole Miss in 2 weeks will be telling.
I don't know what Miami was thinking last night going for it on 4th down instead of kicking the field goal. It's a two score game either way, you have to kick that field goal to stay in the game. That's just a horrible coaching decision. I expect those kind of amateur mistakes in HS games, not the FBS. |

And BTW, OSU isn't even in the top 3 of the B!G for total scoring defense through four games, LOL. So far, they are not as tough as last year's team. |

Warrick Dunn and his charity have done a lot good here in Atlanta. He is a truly a class act all the way around. I hope Watson has similar successes in football career and charity work as Dunn, Monk |

Iowa-Wisconsin should be a great game, with well-matched opponents. Up to now, all Wisconsin's games have been decided in the first quarter. This one should go 60 minutes. Naturally, I favor the home team...
I've never seen Iowa fans in this thread. I know Iowa is (was, before expansion) the ugly step-sister in the Big Ten, but are they unrepresented here? On, Wisconsin!!! |

Worst start since the 50's, on pace for the worst record in school history. Boosters hate him, the man that hired him has already been fired, he can't recruit and can't coach. A defense coach whose defense is atrocious, a discipline coach with one of the most undisciplined teams in the nation. The handwriting is on the wall. |
