Just there and they are not giving 50% off. I put two lights in my card, total $578. Discount $208.30. I tried entering the "outlet50" code and it says it is not a valid code. |

I oqn 1 surefire light the G2 or what the fuck ever it is.
IMHO Surefire is the most over rated, and OVER FUCKING priced POS I own, never gets used unless one of my Fenix battery's die, then I usaully say wow what a fucking piece of shit this thing is.. Their like the Five Guys burger, of flashlights.. Flame on!!! |

I just got an m600 fury for just under $200 shipped. Used the 'black Friday discount' and 15% off for signing up for email updates or some nonsense. Not quite 50% off but it's saving me over $150 for what seems like a nice weapon light.

If they cancel the order, I'm out nothing. No big deal. No butthurt from me, I probably spent too much already anyways yesterday. You can't win if you don't play, so it is worth a shot.

I would honestly like to see how many GDers that jumped on this deal, for NON outlet hardware, would actually be super butthurt if Surefire cancelled the orders. I'm hoping for the best but anticipating the worst and if they cancel it I'm still good and I would totally understand. If they did cancel and you get your panties in a bunch, you're a assclown and the world would probably be better if you drank bleach.

That's promising news if some are getting shipping confirmations, my order still says in processing but it was made later in the day and I'd bet they have a absolutely ridiculous amount of orders to process. As others have said, if it was a mistake, Surefire is welcome to cancel the orders and I wouldn't hold it against them.
Surefire has never been "affordable", they were the last to move to LED, they've rarely been the brightest, with the latest technology etc., though that is improving as of late. My guess is that's mostly due to the fact they extensively test their products before releasing them. Nightforce gets the same criticism because it takes them a long time to bring a product to market, but it's simply due to the fact that they don't release junk and let customers alpha/beta test for them. I'm sure their LEO/Military contracts allow them to be less concerned about the civilian market, both in design, pricing, and sales. However, Surefire is almost entirely designed, sourced, constructed, and tested in USA (If I remember right their LED's are about the only part from overseas because there simply is not a high quality LED source in the states), even their batteries are USA made. That costs more money then sending everything to China, and it supports American jobs and manufacturing. Fenix, Streamlight etc. are no where near that level of American product involvement. Surefire cuts no corners, they use top quality parts for everything, and they stand behind their products. You have to respect that for years they have made absolutely rock solid gear, from the ground up for the LEO/warfighter, while refusing to lower their standards in order to provide a cheaper product to weekend warriors. |
