I've never watched it. What's it about?

BTW, that 65 had the meanest little 289 in it. That car, when it was bought by the original owner, was driven home from the dealer, and gutted. The rolling chassis had only a thousand or so miles when I bought it in 1982, most of which came in 1/4 mile runs. I got 11:88s out of it with the 289 I had built for it.

I think what we have here is another case of the LAPD more concerned with their public appearance than public safety. They dont want to be seen shooting someone on camera, they already have enough trouble that they did cause, and some of the sheeple are sure to be upset at seing someone get shot.

This is absurd though, the guy has no hostages, pump a couple 40mm CS cannisters through the windows then either gang tackle him when he comes out, or if he still has a gun pop him.

the movie is about car thiefs. Nicolas Cage plays the leader of the crew but the only car he could never steal without wrecking was a 70? 428 stang. the final crash rivals that of bullet. a must see movie for car nuts. I think is was a Shelby350? now i have to watch it again!
