10 left

ETA Went from 180 in stock to sold out in 2 hours. I just found out about it.

ETA 2 Apparently it started last night, but they went from 150 to 0 as soon as GD found out about them.

That was good deal.

I snagged one.

Thank God I missed that since I already have a 10.5  I would have bought it anyway.

Eventually I'll have a can.  For now I was going to try the brake I won at CWW, and if that is too loud switch to just an A2 flash hider.

For a can I'm considering either a form 1 maglite can or a Gemtech Halo.

If that brake is too loud, you've got a buyer. The IM button below will work just fine.

Can't go wrong either way.

But I would try for a Gen 3 if you can find it.
Is the 17 really that much harder to conceal? It's a 1/2in taller.

I have both. I like the 19 better for carry. It's just a little more comfortable.

I'm afraid to ask, as I know I've read it somewhere before, but what is the "correct" TA33 reticle for CWAR Spec? My mission is to glass my CWAR this summer in the most halal fashion.

TA33-GH is the favoured reticle, I believe, but I don't think there is an official one.

Me.  Since my original CWAR ended up more DMRish, I'm going to work on a proper CWAR, starting with the generously given SSA-E.

Under those new rules, being that my CWAR is under the Five Pillars of CWAR and not under the Apocrypha of CWAR, I need to swap my Mk2 rail for a mk4 to me 100% spec, is that correct?

(Even with the mk2 rail I was far and away the closest to CWAR spec at CWW, and won that awesome canvas print of the SWAR spec shown in that link.)

I'm not particularly happy about the mount system. It appears to be solid enough and should hold up to a firing schedule without issue but it isn't quick on/off and tends to eat up the o ring pretty quickly. After this weekend I'll discuss it with Trojanman and see if there's a possible fix that keeps the form and increases the function. As it is, I've got 4 of them so somebody at CW5 will win/earn one of them (provided it's safe to use).

A pic of the bottom of this one showing the worst laser 'spill/splatter' from the build process. The lettering/graphics actually came out better than I expected.

Thanks.

The thing I like most about it is unlike my previous cola brake that was somewhat heavy and not very effective, this one mounts over the ALG defense sidewinder, is pretty lightweight, and made of Inconel 718. Pull it off and you're back to a normal looking CWAR.

As it is, I've got 4 of them so somebody at CW5 will win/earn one of them (provided it's safe to use).

A pic of the bottom of this one showing the worst laser 'spill/splatter' from the build process. The lettering/graphics actually came out better than I expected.

That's badass, dude.

Thanks.

The thing I like most about it is unlike my previous cola brake that was somewhat heavy and not very effective, this one mounts over the ALG defense sidewinder, is pretty lightweight, and made of Inconel 718. Pull it off and you're back to a normal looking CWAR.

how exactly does it mount over? that's awesome
