For a rifle that expensive, one should put real BUIS on it.

I don't think anyone is jealous.  I think more people are just disappointed in how the gun turned out and the huge slap in the face when pricing was announced.  IMO I believe this gun will probably never catch on because it's price point.  It just doesn't give you that much more performance over a good AR15.

The only thing I don't really like is the barrel, and how the stock doesn't fold.  If the barrels are modular, couldn't you just buy a DD or Noveske CHF barrel and be done with it?  But spending another $350 to get a proper barrel for something that already is over $2k is kinda ruhtarded, IMO.

First thing I would have done is remove and reattach the barrel.
Coolest feature on the rifle IMO.

I'd imagine there would be 10 holes in the target as opposed to 3

When I got it out of the box, thanks to AIM for the hat!

Range was surprisingly packed today, yesterday when I went it was just me and my group, today there were 5 other shooters on just my section of range.

50yd target after sighting it in

100yd target after sighting it in, you can see my adjusting the sights and bringing the shots in

3 shot group

The range was just too busy for me to go back out and take a pic of the 100yd target

The gun didn't like the CMMG mega mag, it wouldn't feed and it was the only stoppages for the day

Total I put roughly 240rds through the gun today, mostly wolf and the gun honestly is a masterpiece, great shooter, accurate, no recoil and is just amazing. I honestly may like it more than my SCAR

any word on how easy it is to buy a colt pencil barrel, or any 14.7''+pinned FH and change out the barrel/gas system to another barrel, or is it heavily modified?

I'm going back tomorrow with the GF so if anyone wants pics of certain things let me know.

Would love to see some detailed comparison pics of the SCAR/ACR bolt, bolt carrier group, internal receiver rails and fire control group. The ACR basic hand guard is much thicker than I had imagined it. Seeing it next to the SCAR really gives me some more perspective.

Only thing I'd swap on the SCAR for the ACR is the boot stock but even that I can live with.

Nice. I like the SCAR styling more than the ACR though

I just wish MI would allow SBRs, because the SCAR looks dead sexy with the barrel just barely peeking out from the handguard.

Couldn't of said it better myself.

You now have a rifle slightly less reliable than a Galil Golani, for 5x the price.  Good job, op.

For slightly less than what you've blown on your SCAR and ACR, this is what I spent my money on...

Here's a project for you.

Take the handguard off the ACR and (if it will fit, probably have to remove the side rails) slide it onto the SCAR.  Just for appearances... and take a pic.

To me, it doesn't make too much sense to have a MASSIVE fixed stock with zero storage capacity or room for an integral cleaning kit, especially on a modern EBR....especially one that costs that much.

But to each their own, that's why the free market is as it is.
