Omega arrived at the dealer. Signed the Form 4. That's the last can for me. Trying for an PSA AR47 lower to SBR but I don't think that is happening.

My new caps came in today. Great product and super fast delivery. Would highly recommend anyone considering to make a purchase. I even had mine engraved with caliber markings to help id which is which. Will try to post pics once I get some daylight to clear up the pics a bit.

As long as you're OK with an estimate, I can give you one in the morning. The tube with MAAD adapter and flat cap (no MAAD mount) is 6.25" or so. Also, the 1/2-28 Ti DT adapter I have is 1.5oz. It's from DM, not HEE. As I mentioned earlier, it's much thicker than the SiCo design. Howard is looking at making them much closer to SiCo's version...thin with the holes in the face like the end caps. I didn't take a new pic, but the DT adapter I weighed is the one on the right: 
Also, it's interesting to see the slight change in the design of the Omega. When I took the sample pics the DT adapter tucked inside the lip of the tube. They've now thickened that area and added the notches for the wrenches, and the DT adapter hits the end of the tube, which makes the setup just a hair longer. |

Yeah, I thought the website would be nice and was a little skeptical at first but a simple email exchange and it was as easy as pie and I couldn't be happier with the quality and craftsmanship or the products I received. HEE even added the custom caliber engravings I requested. Trust me, if you need end caps you can't beat these.
Also, please keep us posted on those dt adapters. |

Quick update from emails today:
Howard: Good morning Greg, I have the adapter turned, I will try to get some mill time today or tomorrow. I made a sleeve with the ID thread to fit the sample adapter you left, so no need to come by to check fit. I will send pictures after the mill work and we can go from there. Thanks for letting me do the parts. Howard BigWaylon: Sounds good. So, the direct thread adapter for now? Are you making 1/2-28 or 5/8-24, or both? And the blast shield and YHM adapters sometime later? H: I am working on the 1/2-28 first and then 5/8-24 and the two other sizes I have orders for. BW: Curious what the other two were for. 1/2-36? Something metric? H: 9/16-24 and m18x1 So, at this point, just waiting for update with pics. |

At least one of those 9/16th is mine. Have a A-Bolt .300 WM with BOSS. Will bring the mount to my gunsmith here that has threaded some hosts for me. Does great work. He will check thread concentricity then if it's good he will cut threads back to mount. They are very long.
I researched some but never could find where someone had put a can on BOSS threads. Will let y'all know how it turns out. |

The factory 5.56 cap survived 20 rounds of 308 on my friends Omega. End cap was still in good shape. I think we flattened it back out and he is still using it. MAHA |
