Thank you for the kind words.  I love the PRI tube as well and the 14.5 Afghan barrel shoots better than my Palmento State 20".
All I need to do now is to cut the battle comp off and install a saker break.

Have you shot it much with the AFG?  Seems like that would be a really weird angle for your support hand.   I've run AFG's on a few guns and it always seemed like the farther away from the lower I put them the more natural it felt.

I've shot it some.  It's different than what I'm used to, but it's not bad.

So I just stripped pretty much all the spray paint off my dd mk18 upper less a few crevices. Used citristrip and acetone. Now the metal has this white haze to it. I rubbed it down with clp but it doesn't look much better. Any tips on how to make it look more normal?

Oil it heavy and let it sit overnight, next morning wipe of the excess it should be good to go.

If the rifle comes out as good as those it will look good. What are you using as a pattern?

Thanks I appreciate that.   I just got some notebook paper and cut random curves on the sides of the pieces of paper and odd shaped holes in others and went at it.  lol     I used arevoe paint.

For all you guys that have gone for the multicam look, how'd you do your stencils? Did you use tape and actually apply them to the rifle or did you hold the stencil above the rifle?

Im thinking of doing a rifle in black multicam-ish camo.

Not quite the coverage of rattle can as the rest of the thread, but still some rattle can-Krylon high temp engine enamel.

It looks like most in this thread are doing some form of camo, but I just wanted some color other than black.  Upper and lower in Aervoe Field Drab:

Thanks!  The paint is Aervoe brand and color is Field Drab...sorry if it wasn't clear.  The Aervoe paints aren't as durable as something like Cerakote, but for a rattle can paint it's not bad.  I've used it on a couple other rifles and it held up well even with a lot of abuse.  This time I baked the receivers in the oven for an hour to help cure the paint, not sure if that will help the final cure hardness but it enabled me to put everything back together a day after spraying.
