OK, so I am waiting on a 3/25 SBR form 1 Trust submission, 2 questions for those who have been around the block on this eform thing before.
Primary question today: Being in Michigan, when approved the SBR will have to be registered as a pistol (no question or debate there) So in preparation, I started filling out my RI-60 (Michigan pistol form) and referenced my submitted Form 1 to get the details, model, serial, etc... In the process of looking at the form 1, I noticed the section "J" asking whether this firearm is being re-activated, is not checked at all (I thought I recalled checking to the negative during filing, but maybe it was never asked...) So, now I am thinking I am headed for disapproval and 90+ more days of angst.... Is it nothing? I don't think the Eform site would let me proceed without selecting an answer..... Anyone else? Someone look at your approved form for me? Shouldn't be freaking out, but now I am worried. #firstsbrwaitjitters Lesser concern: So, seeing that unchecked box, I thought to walk thru my submitted form on the eforms site. I did not see the question asked in my poking around, but when I clicked out of that form without "saving" since I couldn't/didnt want to make any changes. * I now have a "draft" folder and another form 1 created (similarly titled to my original one) My original 3/25 still shows in the "submitted" folder I am pretty sure I can just delete the draft one, but being as I think I am within a week of approval, I didn't want to mess with it and screw up the submitted one somehow. Delete? no harm, no foul? |
|
Don't delete your draft folder. Or your corresponding submitted form will disappear as well. (Been there, done that)
I'm not looking at a form at the moment, but the unchecked reactivation box shouldn't matter. |

How can you register a SBR as a pistol its not a pistol its a rifle ? I am not from Michigan so who knows lol.
Dont delete anything on your subbmited forms. Quoted:

We have lots of rifles in Michigan that are registered as pistols, because our state measures them FOLDED/COLLAPSED if fireable, unlike the rest of the country. But, because of that Michigan classification, they fall under all the same rules as pistols (Concealed carry, vehicle, etc...) Michigan State Police link "Registration Requirements SBR or SBS that is 26 inches or less in length must be registered as a pistol in Michigan: MCL 750.224b(4) was added to require that a person, except a manufacturer, lawfully making, transferring, or possessing a SBS or a SBR that is 26 inches or less in length comply with the registration requirements of MCL 28.422 or 28.422a. A SBS or a SBR that is 26 inches or less in length is considered a pistol as defined by Michigan law and is subject to all Michigan statutes applicable to pistols." Not deleting anything, thanks. |

I have six pending: two from 3/19, three from 5/14, and one from 5/28. This morning when I got home from work I had emails saying the three from 5/14 and one 5/28 were "returned without action" and then more emails saying that two of the ones from 5/14 and the one from 5/28 were approved. Nothing about the two from 3/19.
Hopefully they all were approved and I just didn't get all the emails. I guess I will just have to wait until I wake up this evening to log in and find out. |

My MG went pending on 6 MAR and just got approved on Monday 22 JUN...
Not much longer for some of you mid-March guys! |

Happy, happy, happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I logged in and found that five of my six are approved. All signed by Mr. Ted Clutter himself. One has the dreaded draft water mark. Another was returned without action. |

Hey guys I have my first eForm pending still. I don't know if this is the place to ask but I keep seeing people talking about watermarks and returned without action. What do these terms mean?

A good copy should show up within a couple of days following and if not. the controller that issued the "mistake" should be contacted so that they can pull their head out and send a good copy. |

Thank you for this info. Also I submitted 3/29 Called and the lady said pending 3/29. Don't know if that's accurate. Hopefully soon |

My 3-21 was approved yesterday. No email notification was given and it has the "DRAFT" watermark. As suggested, I sent an email to Mr Ted Clutter last night to see what he could do for me. So I wonder... Will I get a return email or do I need to log in and check periodically? The sight is down at the moment.
