Components: 8208XBR 23.2gr, Sierra 9377 77gr OTM, 2.260ish oal (i can fit 2.270 in my GI mags so thats awesome). Same load as i was shooting, but i reloaded it. Looks like 500rnds will cost me about $150 range. I hope it groups boys! Right now i am trying to replicate the last batch i had made for me, that stuff was .75moa for me.

When I loaded mk262 I could get it to 2818 fps but was blowing primers in around 40% of my loads. I think you really need to buy new primed lake city with the crimp primers.

Now that I ordered my aem5 for my mod1 I figured i build a modh during the wait.   What are the barrel options for a 16" spr ops collar profiled barrel?

Bison Armory is probably one of your best bets. http://bisonarmory.com/16-spr-223-wylde-stainless/ Looks like they may be out at the moment.

Ballistic Advantage has a 16" SPR that I assume has the correct contour. http://ballisticadvantage.com/16-inch-223-wylde-spr-mid-length-ss-premium-barrel.html

You can also get Douglas Recons from High Caliber or Compass Lake if you're feeling like a baller.

I'm working on a Mod 1/Recce build and having a hard time not grabbing a AEM5 to finish it off...

Maybe a dumb question, or been covered before, but where is everyone ordering there aem5 at?  Any recommendations?

We get suppressors next week here in iowa, and I'm ready to order one asap.

Picked up an older m3 ultra for my miller tribute, anyone know if the 40mm ard they sell now fits the older m3's. Says the m3 is 42mm, and the ard's are labeled as 40. Anyone know what rings he was rocking?

ETA So M3A is 42mm but has the same objective threading as the Mark 4 40mm. 40mm ARD's are gtg for the M3A.

Oh awesome. I have not spent any time at the long rifle ranges. I am aware of the Sig academy, if you look at my basement wall at all the Sig Class Certificates they give you, it is a true testament to the THOUSANDS of dollars I have spent there over the years, both civilian and LE classes.

I need to get back up there. I have only been a couple times since the big renovation with the new Pro Shop, etc.

It's definitely nice and I have spent a fair amount of money there the past 2 years. I hope to one day take a long range class there but I keep spending money on stupid toys

If you really really want a long collar, ADCO is the place to go and it's like $25, really cheap. But if you are not that anal about collar cuz what you have is a mod1 I'll hook you up with it. Mine is a mod 0 so I had to get a long collar, if you know what i mean.
