Err... no.   1903 or 1903A3, M1, M-14, M-16 (SP1), M-16A1, A2, A4.     The A3 was nothing but an A2 with the Navy trigger Safe, Semi, Auto instead of Burst.

M4 and M4A1 Clones also need to be considered.

Jesus.

You do realize these are the greatest, most interesting rifles - right?
I'm there with you but no M14. Used to have one - a Norinco - but I was never really into M14s, sold it.

Beautiful, just beautiful.

ETA: I think your A2 wins them all here. I think I got originally inspired by yours, when I saw your pictures. That grey is TEH grey.
You shan't have any other grey than that - and yet, I failed

With the KAC handguard:

With my 20" PWS build:

Would love to do an M16A4 build someday.

And, inspired by what you did here, there you go, back at you, kind Sir.

(ETA: that K98k shouldn't be here as that SMLE, collage was made for something else)

Got this upper from PSA on a 4th of July sale.  For a $250 upper I'm pretty happy.

Got the UBR 2.0 installed, love it. Perfect balance for the 20" barrel. The TA-110 (LED powered 3.5x35) on top has become a favorite as well.

Finally finished it. I assembled the lower a while ago (PSA Stealth lower, DPMS LPK, White Oak Armament A2 stock kit), then topped it off with a PSA CHF 20" upper (A2 profile, 1/7 twist) a couple days ago.

Had some spare parts, kinda, and started putting together another A4 clone, by another it's been the 3rd time I've put one together but I end up parting them out or selling them. I think this one is a keeper. The barrel and receiver are FN, the rest of the upper is Colt (forward assist, dust cover, bcg and barrel parts) The lower is a SOLGW w/ alg trigger, ergo grip and nsn sopmod stock. I'm waiting on an a2 stock but kind of like this configuration

Here it is on PSA. Out of stock now, though.
http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-20-chf-rifle-length-5-56-nato-1-7-a2-upper-with-bcg-charging-handle-30796.html

I've only put about 150 rounds through it so far, but there weren't any malfunctions out of those. Barrel is FN marked.

The handguards that came on it are fatter than most other A2 handguards (kind of like M4 handguards vs standard carbine handguards). I actually just replaced them today with a set of Colt A2 handguards that I got off the EE (it's still wearing the PSA ones in the photo). They worked fine, I just didn't like the way they looked as much.

I would want a pair of originals (in size) as well, but I must say that those seemingly oversized ones look really cool. I might even prefer that size to standard Colt - it looks thick and strong.

That shows you how with even just the proper scope on a flat A4-ish, you get such a stunning look. Not even considering the can at the end.

Beauty.

Just your standard CMP Service Rifle.  WOA upper (post ban) with Geissele Mk 7 handguard, RRA NM lower, Magpul UBR buttstock, Nikon M223 with point blank reticle.

100 yards has gotten boring, 200 yards reduced isn't as exciting either.

My off hand blows, I've had 2 lower back surgeries (both considered failed). Probably going to convert it into a MR config (10x scope and bipod). I mainly shoot for fun since there are no matches on this side of the state.
