That thing is screaming for an LWRC micro stock.

Interesting idea

Looks like your standard IDF sling from places like Zahal or Agilite, or all over eBay. In addition to a sling adapter around the handguard, also available from aforementioned.

I have a couple, including one on my Mossberg 590. It's simple but quite versatile.

Thanks! Probably going to stick with the A1.5 because I might get an optic soon. Looking at the PA advanced micro dot.

The 1.5 can't be beat. It's uber light and is solid.

Built on a 10.5 ballistic advantage barrel.

How many rounds do you have through that barrel? How's accuracy?
I might or might not have the exact same barrel on my mod 0 upper right now....

that one has 300 or so rounds through it, accuracy is great.

this one (also 10.5 BA) has 1500+ rounds down range and also has great accuracy

I think this creation may belong in this thread. Not really IDF clone kosher but it's KISS and fits the idea I think.

Just a few quick shots of my new WW dissipator barrel that I got mounted to a A1/C7 upper. I took it to the range to ensure zero, one click right and 8 up and she was on for me.

Got a stream-light rail and trimmed the front section down so it would over lap the end of the hand guard and mounted it at about 11 o'clock. Clears the side sling swivel and is easy to manipulate. It puts the light forward just enough to mitigate shadow casting.

Got the BFG VCAS and sling sleeve today, works as expected. I installed the rear on my CQD end plate with a 1" Hk hook.

The bungee on the stock used to hold a VTAC Mk2 in place bundled up but now it holds a pair of surefire defender earplugs in their case.

All I need now is probably a rubber pad for the butt stock and that's about it. This carbine does everything I asked of it, it's relatively light in weight, fairly accurate, simple and functional. Until my eyes get bad this one will remain a favorite.

This one was the result of having a good thing and ruining it by adding more.

I've got a centurion rail inbound for this one and once it arrives next week I'll re do it back to what i call my "all purpose" pattern which is simple to do. Sand/tan/khaki base, a darker brown for the stripes (make 2-4 max), and then an accent of OD here and there using a laundry bag. Always try to accent to where it hits both the tan and dark areas.

As far as inspiration - tiger tank camo patterns

It is a Hakko. I spent five years searching on and off (more "off" than "on") for the simplified version of it (non-illuminated duplex reticle). I FINALLY found one a couple of weeks ago. Talk about happy!

I've a Colt Gummint Carbine with a pencil barrel, a bracket for a light, SSA trigger and same-plane irons, and Magpul furniture..  Other than that, essentially stock.  Had a local smith pin a flashider at minimum length; it shoots straight and doesn't weigh anything.  KISS carbines indeed.

Finished my IDF 723 clone(as close to exact as I can get without SBR stamp)

Pencil bbl, C7 upper,  Bushmaster lower (IDF got Colts, Bushmasters, and Hi Standards), and a Nickel Boron BCG.  Accessories are from Zahal Israel(legit gear)

I'm up to 6 ARs now plus two stripped lowers waiting to be assembled, this one is by far my favorite,  followed closely by my XM177E2 clone.

I dig the port door spring. I'm just wondering how you put heat into it to discolor it.

(I'm familiar with it happening through heat from welding, just never seen it on a port door spring)

That's from an m16a1 kit. That's how I acquired it. I would imagine heating would create the same effect.
