AUTOCAD, fool! |
The guys at ORF rock. Being as close as I am I need to visit more often. Any speculative pricing on the Yugo receivers or those Mp5 err... new stamped receivers?
It would be great to see a US-production stamped AK receiver that is true to commie-spec. If you could make one that is a true clone of the originals I think it would take over the market with fair speed.
All of the current US-made stamped receivers are pretty flawed and none of them are really worthy of a truly authentic build without heavy modification. |
that screen shot of the receiver views does not look like the autocrap...er...autocad setup that i run at work (i run mainly cadkey, mastercam and solidworks). perhaps rod has his screen menus/toolbars configured differently than mine.
it's great to watch orf grow into one of the premier players in our industry. |
Any confirmation or futher info regarding a '94 receiver of any type? It's been mentioned...but nothing from ORF confirmed....
Standing by. |
Looks like it takes standard AKM buttstocks as well. Excellent!
Yeah, we thought it would be nice if you could use the standard 74 stamped stock with them. I belive they will work with the RPK 74 barrels. They will have a 22 mm trunion hole. I think that is what the RPK 74 is, some one correct me if I'm wrong. Mike |

I was wondering where the lower tang was. |

The software I am using is Okuma ADMAC programming software. It hasn't been out very long.
Rod@ORF |
Yeah, I'm with the ARCAPTN. 'cause there's this Uzi that's calling my name. But a good ORF94 would be worth the extra cash. Hopefully your own recievers might bring down the cost too, since ORF wouldn't have to buy and work with the SW abortions. |
Guys,
Yes ORF will offer stamped 94 style receivers soon. Presses need to be delivered, I am hoping two weeks or less, gotta get the new barn sqaured away on where they are going. Die should be ready to test in about 1 month. Todd@ORF ps- Rod glad to see you made it here. WTF you doin with the air hose and file? Man what happens when I am not around! |
Well, I guess that I'll be taking another road trip to my favorite toy store soon. Damn, you fuckers are worse than crack dealers. Questions: Do you guys have parts kits, or should I start looking? I think POF had some MP5 parts kits for sale. If I go the SBR route, you could build an MP5 clone, right? |
I can't remember who has MP-5 kits anymore, POF is probably the best bet, and that Paki stuff aint all that bad
Chuck |
POF ...the majic dragon lived by the sea....
.....sorry its before coffee time..... |
So, where do you get part kits? |
Guys, if you offer complete rifles out the door, which I assume you intend to do, I WILL buy one. Just tell me the price and I'll start saving... |
Yeah POF......if you go to their website....you'll see ME on the front page. Anyone want my autograph???
Hell yeah....this is great news about the '94/MP5 receivers that ORF is going to stamp. We've been waiting for this! ARCAPTN |
Finally some real competition for Special/Tactical/Bobcat Weapons. Please, please tell me the receivers will have riveted case deflectors and sling loops.
ORF
Are you guys gonna roll stammark those 94 receivers.. I hope so, that look soo much better than the dot matrix engraving.. I will however buy one no matter what... |
You can corner the market by making quality HK spec 94 clones and backing them up.
I want to add something to what the Captain said. You can corner the market by making quality HK spec 94 clones and backing them up... You can corner the market by making quality HK spec 94 clones and backing them up... You can corner the market by making quality HK spec 94 clones and backing them up! You can corner the market by making quality HK spec 94 clones and backing them up!!!!! Hopefully that clarifies our position on your potential product. |
With the only competition being Hesse and Special/Tactical/Polecat Weapons, this will be a cakewalk for ORF. Price them competitively, and you won't be able to keep up with orders.
That is absolutly no doubt.... I am already buying for, and planing the one I want them to build... |
Damn, I went to HK-54.com expecting to see that the Toad had blown a gasket only to find that the site has been under construction since May.
That's because he's dealing with legal issues...at least this is what the rumor mill says.
ARCAPTN |
Hope the price is good. POF is still trying to bring theirs in so please keep it as low as possible.
Ah, I forgot that LarryG36 was a close associate of his. |
Ok if your making FNC rec'vrs where can I get a parts kit for them??? I have two Fals and I want No I need an FNC!!!!!!!!!!
Mike, the RPK-74b barrel is 23mm. |
I doubt they would be making recievers unless they had a line on parts.
Just confirmed with Tina, your SEAK shipped. KF |
Last I heard they are working on a side folder due to the many requests for one. |
FnC recievers?? does this mean someones bringing in FNC kit? PLEASE TELL US THE JUICY FACTS!!
Guys,
Yes we have a line on some FNC kits. I am working hard at getting some Ak5 parts kits in. I wanna build Ak5s but we will do some FNCs too. All those sears that hit the market need homes! Milled 74S receivers are down the pipe a couple months yet. Todd@ORF |
A Swedish variant of the FNC. |
Two questions: 1. Price-- need to know how much to start saving. A ballpark figure is fine for now. 2. Where do I sign up to reserve mine? FNC, not AK5. |
I must have a RF94.
If you guys make a FN P90 in semi and 16" barrels i'll be standing in line and will be first. I'm in love with the p90. |
ARDOC,
What about my haircut!! I know I have more on my chin than my head!! Head gettin' bald gotta grow it somewhere! Todd@ORF |
Just kidding! LOL. Watch out for sunburn on the top of your head.
OK, since I have money, like, right now, how do I go about pre-ordering some HK94 goodness?
