Just ordered holsters, etc.  But damn S&W for not having spare magazines available.

Just ordered two holsters and a gen3 apl as well. It's killing me that I can't order mags right now.

Anyone have one of the compact APL lights mounted on their compact yet?  I'd love to see a pic if so. I've got my compact ordered and should be here tomorrow. Night sites and 3 mags!

And why, @MK262, might you say that?  You must have forgotten to finish your post, as I'm certain you wouldn't come into one of the tech forums and just post a comment like that without having a cogent criticism as to your experiential shortcomings of the M&P 2.0 Compact, which could potentially benefit the others in this thread, and it would lend to insulting assumptions that you would just be denigrating the M&P in favor of your own pet choice of handguns.

I shot my m2.0c side by side with my p320c today and the M&P is better... Accuracy is good with both but the M&P is easier to shoot fast and it is smaller. If S&W would have come out with this pistol a long time ago I might not have wasted so much money on p320 stuff...

Wow, that's pretty awesome. Is the compact APL a different shape than the standard? If there are available holsters for that, it's pretty much the perfect carry combo.

Another great product from JM Kydex.  The AIWB 2.0 is a fantastic holster, and he got them on the quick ship list for the M&P within a couple weeks of it being released.  Ride height is great, this is just as slim as the eidolon, a bit more comfortable, and more configurable with the neoprene wedge.  For my model (with the thumb safety) this holster actually keeps the safety engaged while the gun's holstered, and if you holster the gun with the safety disengaged, the holster engages it via the pictured shelf/funnel/whateveryouwanttocallit.

I like that a lot but I'm not sure if I want to try AIWB with this pistol. I think I might see if they have that holster for a CZ p07. I already have a IWB3 from JMC coming for my 2.0c.

Do they have a non ambi safety?  Or offer it as an aftermarket add on?

And it needs some paddle mag releases

Are 10rd mags ever coming out? I see even 15rd are tough to get sometimes. What’s the deal with them putting out a gun but not the mags?

I know it doesn't help in your case, but I think that most of us just run full-size mags as back up. I did the same with my 1st gen compact.

I figured that’d be what you’d do until the smaller mags came out. Easier carry size with the smaller ones.

Other than the JM Kydex posted above, anyone know of any holsters that will fit the 4" Compact?

I took a dremel to the muzzle end of my m&p9c aliengear iwb. It used to slightly wrap around the front edge of the 1st gen compact. The 2.0 compact is longer, so I just cut it until the front if the slide was completely exposed.

JM Kydex is awesome and is usually my first choice. Others are adding support too. L.A.G Tactical, and Mastermind Tactics lists it, Milt Sparks is making me one now, Dark Star Gear is testing one and it I assume it will be out soon.

That's a great price for a local shop. I've seen them a little cheaper online over the holiday but once you pay for shipping it would come out around the same.

Viridian XTL (around $150ish) is pretty compact and puts out around 350 lumens. The new Surefire XC-1B (around $300) is supposed to put out close to 350 as well. But as much as I love a light that sits flush with the muzzle or shorter you’re gonna lose a ton of Lumen hence I’m throwing them out and going with a TL1HL. 800 lumens for a lil over 100 bucks is hard to beat and the holster options are wide open.

I’m looking at the AIWB/IWB from Knightfall.

I have one on order,  it was actually delivered to my FFL today,  this will probably make me say goodbye to my good old G19,  I have a shield and a G43,  I just prefer the shield over the 43.  Both are excellent guns,  the grip texture of the SW is hands down better to me that the G.  no punn

hope to get it this week and try it out,  I see mags were hard to get last year,  I got two extra that were delivered today,  will pick up a few more next pay day

New compact big.  Decide if want 2.0 Compact 4" or 2.0 4.25".  More difference in mag floorplates than gun.  Rich guys buy both.

A 17 round mag with a 15 round floorplate would be best.  Smith won't sell one.
