Is there an extender available to attach a bayonet on a 16" carbine?

I already know about the long handle bayonets & the rings that are clamped to the barrel with a lug on it. I'm just wondering if there's a simple extender available that attaches from the existing FSB lug & to the connection on the knife.
If not, I may try creating one.
