Wait a little while and the LaRue mount will come out. If you can't wait Grant at G&R Tactical has the KAC mount.

KAC won't fit the Docter sight. It's made for the J point, Firepoint, and old defunct Tasco Optima.

Do you happen to know if LaRue is also making a mount for the regular TA01 and Dr? If they are, do you happen to know when? Thanks a lot. |

It is my understanding that LaRue is only making one for the NSN. I have no idea when it will come out. Specwargear.com has one in the works for just the TAO1, but they have been working on it for quite a while now so who knows when that will be done.

A customer on this board modified a KAC mount to work with a Dr. Optic. He says that it works very well..

I was just thinking about this type of setup for the COF in last weekend's 3-gun.
Do the BAC equipped ACOG's perform well in CQB? Like 10ft away? Or are they too "slow"? Is that where the Dr. Optic back-up would shine?? |

... That's the idea, only time it's somewhat compromised is outside in bright sunlight. Clearing a house the Dr. Optic if fine. |
