Handguard is a troy alpha 7.2" carbine rail.  Will the barrel stick out? Be flush? Or be inside the handguard?

assuming all measurements are exactly as you stated, and I've found recently this is not always the case, the barrel CROWN will be .3" past the end of the handguard. Most barrels have .75" threaded I believe, and you need to factor this in. had to put a Griffin linear comp on two because any other muzzle device was too close to the end of the handguard for mental comfort.
