We've got some more limited production factory rifles being made. Colt LE6920 with matching factory done cerakote FDE upper and lower receiver. Furniture will be black. Exactly 200 are being made, exclusive for us. It is a Magpul FDE shade of color like for the USMC PMAGs, a wet sand color

Those are the black models, the FDE should be in within 30 days and you there will be a color option added to the same link

Are they going to be QR stamped and cage code barrels?
LE or CR serial numbers? |

The cerakote guns are nice but its a shame that Colt no longer offers the anodized FDE 6920s as the finish is second to none on mine. I regret not buying two or three.

might be nice to have a Cerakoted Colt. Had the Anodized colors, and the latest batch off the military line of M4s sure have enough dings that Cerakoting might help. What ever happened to 2017 ? Seems like that was a great vintage year. Before and after are dings and scratches.

Wasn't the "ceracote" specials just a way for Colt to get rid of "blemished" parts?

Don't get me wrong, I love my Colts, but I do wonder why it is okay to produce rifles with blemishes, and say it is character? I realize that some of the current rifles come from the military line, so soldiers are not concerned, but I still wonder... |

Here are the photos, we've got a couple dealers trying to scoop these up from us in California to be converted for that state, so act fast! https://www.armsunlimited.com/v/vspfiles/photos/LE6920-3.jpg View Quote Cheers |

Weird?? It’s M4A1 barrel with a slightly extended muzzle device. Nothing more. Cheers

Let me just say the price we are selling these FDE 6920s for is below what the normal cost of a 6920 is to us and we are a distributor. Colt wanted to move them desperately and we made a take all offer that they agreed to so we got them at a price below what we normally pay, it is a one time offering
The mount we are including at no cost is a product we manufacture typically to fill contracts that call for it, we have a large overage of them and giving them away to customers who will hopefully use them is better then them taking up space |

I just did my part and ordered one. One of these days I will realize that I have too many 6920's.

I ordered one and picked it up today. Sorry, no pics at the moment, I’ll try to post some this weekend. After a quick once over of it here are some highlights.
- cage code marked upper receiver - cage code marked barrel - CR prefix S/N lower with the stamped UID matrix - has a weird machined oval where auto would be marked on the receiver, it’s on both sides of the lower - MPC marked bolt, couldn’t tell if the carrier was C marked - some minor blemishes in the cerakote -the Colt roll mark is missing part of the O and L like the initial Brownells lowers Overal, I’m happy with it for the price. |

The 'oval' is unique to rifles that were built for South Africa. Marks were on both sides because they were going to be ambidextrous. I am hoping I get the same type lower with mine. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

The clear tape used obviously wasn't 3M Scotch. Typical Colt trash. /s View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

I initially thought the FDE cerakote was unique to these rifles but it appears that Colt did a run of Expanse rifles in a similar configuration but with different barrel. I would be curious to know what the lower receiver on these Expanses looked like.

From my understanding these were originally destined for South Africa and the State Dept rejected the export permit denying the sale.

|
In regards to the oval, were these lowers at one time stamped auto/burst and then milled off for a semi only export?
