NAM and I just finished another high reliability MT63 digital QSO. His first call was at 5W and it printed just fine. Anyone else, Bueller...?

I'm back. Was going to do some crawling in the attic, but I am too pooped. lol.. I may have found some info on calibration for the 857: http://www.0xdecafbad.com/2009/08/ft-897857-calibration-dumper/
Of course, I can tune up or down by 10hz, but that will drive me nuts. lol... I will always forget, and it will plain old bug me. lol... call me a perfectionist.

I was on last night and arfcom was NOT well represented in my log.
 http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=10&f=22&t=645492 The state of WI was well represented. 2 meter rover, 25 contacts 12 grid squares. EN54, EN53, EN63, EN52, EN62, EN82, EN41, EN71, EN81, EN91, EM89, EM58 and EM68 The reports I have heard from base contest stations are reporting 40 to 50 contacts so I don't think that 25 was bad from a rover with an omni-directional antenna at 13.5 ft agl |

getting ready to set up my antenna if anyone is around. pick a band and freq. should be up and running in the next 20-30 min or less.

I've been on 3.718mhz was talking to friends in SC and FL. FL wasn't hearing me tonight so I signed off there. Was hearing SC and VA pretty good here in northern IN>

what are you talking about? 7.203 isnt listed as any special freq, plus FCC states: No frequency will be assigned for the exclusive use of any station." No one "owns" a frequency.
