In honor of this thread

What have you done that most people have not?

Me: I have assisted in a surgery and made the final incision to remove a non-malignant growth from my father's arm.

Had an epic ATV highspeed broadside and wreck on a beach in Costa Rica that would've made even Halo fans gasp. Miraculously all I had after the litany of "holy shit" moments that followed was bleeding and a messed up knuckle that took a year to heal.

I've held hands with a chimpanzee.

I've scratched a tiger on the top of the head until he took a swat at me.

I've seen a guy blow a tumor out of his nose.

I've squirted valium into my dog's butt to help him out of a seizure.

There are lots of others, but that's enough for now.  I always end up with weird stuff happening in my life.

I live above a gun shop, and the tenant in the apartment next to mine was a USMC scout sniper.

Sorry, that's about as good as my life gets.

I have driven a Lamborghini, Bentley, Ferrari, and Bugatti, though. The Lambo (Gallardo) and the Bugatti (EB-11? 12?  I don't remember the model.  Fucking thing was electric blue, though) were most disappointing.

I've also seen someone die, and have their head contents drip out their nose.  Not sure how many have seen that.

I had a police escort across county lines for my birth, I was almost a month overdue and weighed 11 lbs 4 ozs; I don't think my mother ever forgave me.

Coincidentally enough, that was, an hour and 14 minutes shy of, 35 years ago.

Built several heavily custom modified 671 detroit diesels with my dad for his trucking company!

One of the coolest things I have ever done was crank them up on an engine stand without any exhaust.   We has a tach, water temp, oil pressure gauge set up.   We would crank them up several times a day just to play around before we installed them in the Trucks.   My Dad was by far the best Detroit Engine builder in the state of FL, if not the U.S.   Damn I miss him!!!

Fill that up with sand and bring it home.  Very good find.  I'd love to go to any of the historical battlefields of WWII.

I've drove an '03 Cobra that would outrun all of those mentioned. (Unless you drove a Veyron, which I doubt.)  Going 170 in 5th gear, in a 6 speed is quite the rush. It was only topped by going 180+ racing a highly modded Z06. We outran a Lamborghini Gallardo with the Kenne Bell set up. The twin turbos and race gas are a totally different animal. The adrenaline rush you get from a 900 horsepower car with slicks in a full pull is something that words just can't really describe.

Ha!  I have been there, but my wife wouldn't even climb up there (To the top of the pyramid.).  She has a fear of heights.

But, I have been to the depths of some caves that very few people have ever seen.
