she looks nice and seems interested in me but and this is a BIG but.
the divorce is not final yet. so would you? ed. no kids. |
As a rule, no. But I may make an exception if she was an exceptional person.
No. Her husband probably has a different idea of what "separated" means than she does.
Just what I was thinking. He may not even know that they are "seperated". I'm not comfortable with someone who can't resolve one circumstance before getting into another one. |
Yeah, with a gun close by.
Freshly divorced husbands could equal trouble. |
+1. There are alot of dead people -- both men and women -- who thought separated meant "he won't bother me again". |
No. They don't have to be separated.
in case I forget to come back to this thread - I'm just kidding, of course |
No shit. Nothing like shoving a Beretta 92FS into the face of some guy who jumps out of your fucking tree at midnight to confront you when you come home from a date. (The guy had previously made threats and had received mental "treatment". He ended up stalking us everywhere we went, and even started calling my home and hanging up. He got so depressed, he holed up in his parents' house with a hunting rifle while the police sealed off the block. I was at his wife's work when he called. I grabbed the phone and told him to put the gun in his mouth. The cops heard about that and weren't very happy. I woulda felt sorry for him if he wasn't such of a douchebag. Fucked the stripper at his bachelor party, cheated on her, stole her money, etc. (typical douchebag stuff). Prepare for DRAMA. |

BTDT, married her after her divorce was final.
It was kind of fun going places in South Carolina knowing we were being followed by a private investigator. |
Excellent |
If you are prepared to become part of the divorce, go forth and conquer.
Very situational - but yes, I did, and she is now my wife.
Situation, however, involved lengthy separation and I did not come into picture until weekend before divorce was going to be final. Also I had a history with her about 15 years earlier, and would have married her then had jobs not separated us. |

Bullseye!! Good shot Chairborne! |
Fuck that shit !!! You're in prime "Grudge Fuck" territory and they give it all they got. Just be prepared, s'all I'm sayin'. |
Yep. Either way you'll be in ex's crosshairs so might as well enjoy the ride. |
Let alone, if it was your wife/fiance/GF how would you feel? She will just use you as a "get over" tool and drag you into her drama at all costs. No pie is worth that. |

RUN AWAY!! RUN AWAY!!!
Never date a woman who is "seperated" or has been divorced for less then a year. There's too much shit they need to sort out and you'll be dealing with DRAMA!!! |
This is how most women I have dated behave. They just cant seem to break off one relationship with out having another one going. I think they just cant handle being alone or something.

A wise man once said: " A woman is like a chimpanzee. She will not let go of one vine until she has a hold on another" |
"I'd like you to meet the better half..." (yeah, we'll both burn for them) |
Yep, best sex and it's almost certain she'll toss you away when she's done with ya, Saving you the trouble of dumping her later.
Legally separated ... No problem .
Just decided not to live together any longer .. Problem . |
Same here. |
I have experience in this area. Take my advice and wait. The husband WILL show up at the wrong time.
Not all seperations are equal. Some allow dating, others do not, IIRC. I say go out with her, but don't let her know where you live, yet. |
She'd have to be pretty hot, but probably not. Their are enough normal, no baggage women out there.
