First songs sounds very similar to every other song they've done.

When they start writing lyrics about something original and stop playing the same song every track I'll give them a shot.

Its not a question of hating them....it's hating that they sound like 25 other bands, or so close as to make liking them unneccessary.

Just another "Goat Boy" vocal band. Pale, boring, too earnest, rock for guys who play too much pool.

I knew they were completely useless when I caught an interview with them on Fuse the other day. The singer, who looks like a fucking poodle, said they were afraid that using piano in a rock song would suck and would be considered "lame". I don't think I can count how many good rock/metal songs there are with piano in them.....

I think that some of their stuff is just alright. The lyrics on some songs is pretty stupid. All of their stuff sounds alike but with different lyrics.

If you only hear one song and it is one with okay lyrics, then you might like `em.

I've never even seen him before, so I did an image search and you're right.

All four of them look like they should be delivering pizzas instead of in a rock band.

I liked the first couple songs from Linkin Park's first cd. I used to like Staind and Godsmack also.
Then, they started catering to 14 year old girls to get some airplay.

Emo, Rap and Skank Rock (read: nickelback) are plagues upon humanity, and should be stopped at all costs.

No, I don't think so. The good shit is plentiful, and not on the radio. Nickleback is a prime example of corporate rock at it's finest.

People bitch about their songs sounding the same, but you could say the same thing about a lot of great bands like ZZ Top, AC/DC, etc...

I don't think Nickelback will have staying power like those bands, but they are decent to listen too.

Nickleback sucks. They are not better than 75% of what is out there. Keep in mind that pop is not the only thing out there.

I'll admit they have a couple genuinely good songs - meaning they are classic "hits" and I like the songs.

As a band though, they suck. They aren't known for great performances, and their lyrics suck in almost every song. They don't have enough hit songs and are really just a "one hit wonder" type of band that stayed longer than expected.

Gay band name too.

Well, I also ride a Harley, and keep myself in pretty good shape - and in my experience, if you're true to yourself, have something going on, and DON'T worry about whether you have one or not - "the womenz" will come to you... You DON'T have to listen to music you don't like to get 'em - atleast I never have...
