Beech Starship, ala Rutan
...no, not a car, but I'd trade any car for it. Mercedes E55 AMG if it had to be a car. |
|
Yes it is! Then again in snow country AWD comes in handy and 450hp in a suv might be fun.

MAN, it would suck to go for pizza in your cool snazzy car - and then when you get there, there are tons of cars in the parking lot just like yours! Bummer. |

It depends, as a daily driver Id like something more comfortable. For a car I dont drive everyday Id like a 69 Superbird.
Add most older muscle cars to the list, |

I've got an '88 35th anniversary Corvette but other than that I'd say a '66/67 Chevelle, two door hardtop. |

My 1931 Ford with TCI chassis and 350 chevy is my car. I ride a HOG daily. I plan to never buy any car off the shelf ever again. I plan to build a 1928/29 Ford phaeton (bathtub) roadster, an extended cab roadster pickup, or a 1948 chevy pickup. If I can get another shortbed 1970 chevy 4x4 from a neighbor, that will be an interim project. Build. Don't buy.

I have never seen a picture of that supercharged Cobra but I have read the story Bill Cosby told about Shelby making him one. He said the car put out 900 horsepower and if so that thing would have ran a wee bit faster than 12's. A 427 Cobra S/C ran 12.40s. naturally aspired. My dream car would be the Boss 429 Mustang KK#1214. The 7th Boss 429 built. Modified by Tasca Ford. The car was red and had gold stripping like a Boss 302. Instead of saying "Boss 302" it said "Super Boss". The motor was a 494 c.i. Can Am motor (Boss 429) and had a auto trans. Car ran mid 11's with street tires and mufflers. |

Uparmored HUMVIE armored 5 ton truck with 5 M60's M113 with a armored cupala |

Right now I would like an 05 Caravan with sto-n-go seating with a clear title. It wouldn't do much for me, but then my wife would stop bitching about a new car. As for making me happy, I got a 1974 Ford Maverick 4dr, it makes me happy.

A Honda Accord. Really!
Ok, fine, if someone gave me some expensive sports car, I would probably take it then sell it and use the money to buy myself a Honda Accord. Can you tell that my friends tell me that I'm too practial sometimes? |
|
Practical? You call a sporty nice looking car like that practical? Don't feel bad, I just admitted that at this point in my life, my dream cars are a Minivan and a POS econobox from the mid seventies. |
