Mine would be a 1970 Chevelle SS in Fire Engine Red with Black Accents or a 69 GTO.

Dude, did you know those cars are well known for having their flux capacitors going out? Make sure you get the factory one replaced with the newer version.

As far as everything goes though, it's a cool car [what other car do you know that can take you back to the future]?

A Honda Accord. Really!

Ok, fine, if someone gave me some expensive sports car, I would probably take it then sell it and use the money to buy myself a Honda Accord.

Can you tell that my friends tell me that I'm too practial sometimes?

Practical? You call a sporty nice looking car like that practical? Don't feel bad, I just admitted that at this point in my life, my dream cars are a Minivan and a POS econobox from the mid seventies.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I'm becomong way too fancy with the Accord. LOL. I actually used to drive a silver '91 Aerostar. 220K+ miles on that baby.

Keep all those exotic Eurotrash cars.

In this order, I'd have:

1956 Nomad

1969 Corvette Stingray (427, 4spd)

1969 Camaro Z28

1969 Chevelle (this is what my hotrod was)

1970 Challenger or Barracuda

1969 Road Runner with a Hemi

Gimme something I can work on myself and not have to deal with Serge and his cup of tea with a twist of lemon to get parts ordered or work done.

Good 'ol AMERICAN STEEL. (well, except for the 'vette)

Well, had it (85 FJ60) but ran it till  just under 400,000 miles and traded it to a pard for a car for my daughter.  I miss the old beast.  Miss my '47 Chev Stylemaster Coupe too.....

80's FJ60
and
FJ40
FJ55

Probably trade my old Shadow for a V-Star soon.
Sounds pretty plebeian don't it?  What can I say.....

Porsche raced them in the FIA GT series a few years back and they ran at LeMans.  They also, because the rules required it, produced a certain number of street cars.  Very pricey, but this was about the car of your dreams.

One that's paid for and that I only have to drive to and from the range each day!

Seriously though, I'd be overjoyed with a new pickup for me and a nice minivan or station wagon for the wife and kids.  I think the days of dreaming about say, a new Ford GT350 or a Humvee (not that plastic H2 crap) are pretty limited - I do not like standing out from the crowd that much anymore when driving or parked - The idea is cool to think about but a drag in reality.  Target for vandalism, etc, and I figure those vehicles = education fund for my kids, a reasonable shopping spree for my wife, and a couple nice guns and lots of ammo left over for me.

I never thought I'd get so old so quick.

Now if the Humvee came with a legally owned turret system, weapons, and ammo ....

Mine is 1980 Volkswagen Rabbit Diesel.
She gets 45 mpg, higher elevation, in the Rockies.  But, its got 4 doors, plenty of room for me and my Lab, enough room for going to the range, AND a CB/PA for talking to the neighborhood or assisting police stings.
Now with all these high tech features your probably thinking how does one afford somthing like this, suprise, it can be had for as little as 2,000 times less than the Porche GT1.  Just think what you could do with 2000 rabbits!?  Here's a picture of my bun-bun
