Why hasn't hasn't anybody said GOOD SHOT yet? I mean, snake heads are pretty tiny and they move very fast.

IN the past 3 days I've dispatched THREE rattlesnakes. None were killed with a firearm. At first I ran them over with my corolla, THEN I went mano a mano with a baseball bat. I succeeded in bashing each one of them.

edited to add - was out geocaching the other day and came across a copperhead that just ate...he moved very slow...the stick crushed his head a little, but then he ended up in the creek 20ft below and swam away

Yep, it WAS a corn snake. I try to keep the garter snakes that live around the house safe. They eat alot of mice and other bugs and stuff.

Congratulations on the good shot. I remember as a kid, I had my Sheridan .20 pump air pistol and capped a black water snake in the head as it was swimming in our creek at us. Those things freaked us out as kids, especially when you invaded their territory.

I was always careful to spare garter snakes and such, but those water snakes were vicious.

My wife's policy is "the only good snake is a dead snake."
