Here's how it started:

I got an e-mail from one of the members of GlockTalk.com, after we sent out the e-mail list broadcast, asking if in the new shows I would still use that 10 year sign-off: "Shoot Safely and Keep 'em in the 10-ring."

I told him, no these shows are going to be entirely new... And I suggested he get his forum buddies working on a new sign-off for me.

A couple of hours later it had gotten very entertaining with nominations like: "I'm Jim Scoutten, remember two to the body and one to the head."

And that suggested we ought to do a TV bit on the nominated phrases... and that grew into a contest idea that we ought to award a prize (presumably a gun) for the suggestion that actually becomes the new sign-off for the next 10 years or so, or until I run out of gas.

But the funny ones also need a prize, a booby prize, let's call it. (not a gun!)

So with all the creativity (from twisted minds) here at AR15.com, it seem only fair to post the contest for you guys.

So play in either category or both... write the line I can really use and win ... or write the funniest line (that won't get me blown off OLN) and still win.

If you would like to see OLN sued by Yoko Ono you could say, "Remember folks, Happiness is a warm gun".

I'm sure the suit would boost ratings...think of the free publicity.
