I think he has taken a trial by Judge because his counsel knows that if he is tried by a jury his chances of being convicted are close to 100%. |

Cost the US a shit ton of money, 3. Cost people their lives. Now there's a big IF he cost other soldiers their lives, but as was laid out on the onset, a DUSTWUN requires everyone to stop what they were doing and look for him. If a soildier was in village B when he would have otherwise been in village A and he got shot and/or killed, it's on Bergdahl. If an OP was supposed to be shut down or get reinforcements and that didn't happen, and it gets attacked and people killed, that's on Bergdahl. Additionally, the mil took a lot more chances with raids looking for him. So yes, he did get people killed. |
