I just voted for him
I'm good luck |
|
It's proportional delegates and the latest polls coming out show Trump tied with Cruz (and the polls don't take in account the momentum from his blowout win in Nevada last night)
But I can't wait to see how some people rationalize it as a big win for Cruz |
|
|
Yes, I think he will win Texas. Unfortunately, he needs more than a slightly larger number of delegates from this one state.
I voted for him and I sincerely hope he somehow can get the nomination, but it's not looking good. |
|
My wife just told me that she voted Rubio.
If I'd have known she was going to waste her vote I would've disabled my own vehicle. |

While I am a Trump supporter, I do hope Cruz wins Texas. If he doesn't win the nomination, it would be problematic if he felt he didn't have the support of his constituency.
|
|
Well I didn't sign his death warrant by donating money to his campaign, so he has a shot.

If he doesn't get over 50% of the vote he gets a percentage of the delegates. After Tuesday, it's mathematically impossible for anyone but Trump to win. |
|
If Cruz doesn't win Texas on March 1, he needs to drop out of the race.

View Quote I disagree I would like to see him show up in all the state primaries...keeps his face out there...so that regardless of who wins the general and in 4 yrs after... if the people are thoroughly disgusted.... Cruz has a chance to help organize the next push....assuming there is one of course. |

Trump will most likely win Texas and the butt hurt in GD will be epic.

If he doesn't win his home state he's done. Time to throw the towel.

It's going to be embarrassing for him when Trump take Texas. If he loses Texas, he should pull the plug on his campaign. Texas has an odd proportionality/WTA threshold rule. The creepy Canadian likely won't make the threshold with Rubio still in the race. Sucks to be him. LOL |

If Cruz, Kasich and Rubio can't take their home states they're toast. And Kasich needs to take Ohio for any chance of consideration as a VP candidate. Also, if Trump takes 8 of the Super Tuesday states, it's all over unless Rubio or Cruz drops out and throws their support to the other for there to be even a slim chance of overtaking Trump. And honestly, will Cruz supporters really vote for Rubio in any numbers? I'm thinking at least half of them will either write Cruz in or stay home.

View Quote It's gonna be close and with Trump's huge victory last night, I'd give him a slightly better chance than Cruz. And seeing how Cruz was planning on getting 50% not that long ago; he is repeating the same path of Santorum and Huckabee before him. I just don't see the math or the map that makes anyone think Cruz can pull this off. His campaign is done, he just doesn't know it yet. |

His campaign might be done, but he'll stay in until the convention. Otherwise Rubio will have a chance to squeak past Trump. Cruz will then end up being Trump's pick for VP or SCOTUS to secure the conservative vote in the general. |

The republican party is in love with RINO social conservatives like Cruz. But the public in general doesn't like them. It's not 1955 anymore. The era of RINO social conservatives is over. You guys happen to notice that Trump is the only republican candidate that the public likes? The republican party had to get an outsider, a vulgar obnoxious blow hard, to make any kind of impression on the public. that shows you how fucked that the republican party is. |

Right, because we should cater to people who vote based on appearance and who find something creepy (although nobody can pinpoint it) about one man, while simultaneously (I guess, anyway) ignoring the fact that the other guy wants to bang his own daughter. This world makes sense, that's for sure. |
