The poll out today has it down to a 1 point lead for Cruz in the Emmerson Poll, which has been the most accurate so far this season.
It's gonna be close and with Trump's huge victory last night, I'd give him a slightly better chance than Cruz. And seeing how Cruz was planning on getting 50% not that long ago; he is repeating the same path of Santorum and Huckabee before him.
I just don't see the math or the map that makes anyone think Cruz can pull this off. His campaign is done, he just doesn't know it yet.

I think the VP thing has come and gone. Not from bad blood, because every primary is like this, but I can't see what a 1st term senator would add to a ticket with a guy who already has no political experience. If Trump gets to that point, then I'm thinking a more experienced pol or even a retired general.
Ted a cruz is the only guy who could replace Scalia. If would be like the old guy never left. Though getting Cruz through the Republican held Senate and a few democrats to make 60 votes is daunting, if he would be willing to take that seat.
