They are reliable and have proven themselves time and time again.
Also relatively cheap. Now that the SEALS, Delta, and MARSOC are carrying them even more will want them. |

Reliable.
Expandable. Affordable. Whats not to like? 450 in a pistol that works as is or can be racegunned, stippled, cut down, aftermarket support as good as an AR. |

like the above dudes already stated: simple, cheap, reliable.
Unfortunately a lot of the knuckle heads on the internet feel that their pistol of choice should be the only option for folks and always have to bleat shit out of their face hole in every fucking thread not related to glocks. I just picked up a 43 friday, I fucking love it. |

The G19 was my regular carry for a long time. I have other guns I like better, but the G19 is durable, low-maintenance, light, I don't worry about the finish, it does the job, and I wouldn't be upset if I used it in a defensive encounter and had to surrender it to the cops for an extended period. (Electro-penciled case numbers could only improve the character of the gun.)

I have 10 glocks so far. I buy them because they work. If you want to try different or unproven pistols go ahead. Most semi auto malfunctions and drills are due to non glocks. Glock is proven and reliable like a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord. They just work.

They have exactly the features I want. No safety and a short reset trigger. No gimmicks on the gun. It also doesn't rust.

I don't get it. My Cz P01 fits better in the hand, is within four ounces when loaded, plenty of carry options, and is a design that's proved itself for decades. To each their own though. More options the better, it's whatever you shoot better.

I have tried to like them. They are ugly as sin and are as ergonomic as a 2 x 4. Beretta 92's and CZ75's for the win. If it does not have a hammer it's not right. I tried to like striker fired Guns and everyone I tried just was not as good

they are boringly reliable....just what I want in a self defense tool. It's not a status symbol or something to show off....it's a tool that has a critical job to do when called upon.

I have had a 43, got a 42----- my new carry pistol loaded with ''Underwood'' +P XTP, not too shabby.....[ I have a Gen 2 19, Gen 3 19 and a 34 ] The 42 is SO easy to carry-- all the time. ---------FULL disclosure--- I am a 1911 man for 40 years....
