Can't wait to get to the range and try some other rounds out on this other block. Gotta go to the shop and get some green tip 5.56 as I don't own any. I have Chinese steel core 7.62. Gonna try .308 out. If there is anything left of the block after that I will try 7.62x54R Czech silver tip.

Wish I had that chunk of lead. Shooting stuff is fun, but I could make lots of things to shoot stuff with, out of those blocks.
I'm sure the kids will love that. Mine love shooting reactive targets. |

I have lots of lead. I shoot mostly home cast bullets out of my pistols. I think I will try to remold these and try various ammo on them. It's really not proving anything but it's neat. |

Got to shoot a round of SS109 into my other block today. The crevice was not near as big in diameter but was a lot deeper.

Hard to see in the picture but the cavity going in for about 2" then it deviated to the right.
