This may be the first time I've wished I had a motorcycle.
Open offer: Any ARFer riding a motorcycle that can make it to the Gordon Biersch at 100 M St. SE gets a free beer on me. Street parking and outside tables, just show up. I can see from my office, just put up a BFL, a nice FU AROCK sign, maybe a FBHO... anything that identifies you as being from here, and I'll know. I do have to work, though, so just one beer. |

May many a muslim life be saved that day by the bikes and their pipes.

Yep, I rode in a Patriot Guard escort of several living Medal of Honor recipients from DFW airport to Gainesville, TX. The procession on the interstate was something like 3 miles long. |

Any NoVa Arfcommers want to meetup to ride over to the staging area in MD please im me.

Based on these posts, I think I know why DC declined the protest...

I think this event may actually eclipse one million. Bikers can be quite deticated about such things. |

Anyone hopping on the back of my bike is making a deal. Mrs. Cthulhu is the only one I want paying up, therefore the only one allowed on. (No men on the back, even when there was no Mrs. Cthulhu :) ) Editied to add: Even the worst elements of bike culture can do some great stuff when motivated. I hope they go do good. |

I live near D.C. All the motorcycle noise on the Memorial Day weekend is bad enough. Now we're going to have more noise disturbance on Sept.11? Not to speak of making an already bad traffic situation worse? My wife is going nuts with this stuff. Guys, have mercy on those of us who live here.
