Looking to try something new and need input and pics if possible.

I've tried them all and settled on the Blue Force Gear Victory. Reminds me, I have about 3-4 VTAC's I need to sell..

It really is too bad that there's not a sling forum.
A sling forum is a really good idea....you might be onto something. |
Though, I am thinking about purchasing an Magpul MS3 for my newest build.

Blue Force VCAS
I've standardized on this. It's what all Printer Repairmen use. |
Magpul sling.....Not really all that happy with it tho for some reason.
The new tier one is stretch armstrongs....you aint cool, if you aint running one..

Hmmm... Tell me more about this sling forum idea, this might really go somewhere. |
A hybrid of magpul and vtac was my favorite setup, currently I use a MS2, still waiting to try out a MS3

vtac 2 point sling. Very nice sling. It cinches up nicely to your chest to free up your hands. One pull of a cord and its back to its usual length.

got an magpul ms3 on my rifle at the moment. I like it for what it it. I can't stand 1 point, and 3 point slings. I only bought it because it was pretty cheap at a local shop, and I needed a sling for the next day

Depends on the platform.
For my AR's I like the VTAC. For my bolt actions I like the old USGI sling. My SBRs I like a single point sling. |

Quoted: Cheap, and it works. Grab one from Zahal.org. http://www.zahal.org/files/images/products/Slings/improvedsling_copy.jpg hmm $20, looks plenty wide to not be a pain if slung for a long time. "Zahal...I don't know that brand" "Don't worry it's got Sony guts" |
I use a licorice rope, in case I get stranded, or just hungry.
I go without. It just catches on stuff and it's not like I'm out on road marches with it. |

"Zahal...I don't know that brand" "Don't worry it's got Sony guts" Just a plain old IDF sling. They are comfy as heck, perform an admirable job of keeping a rifle from hitting the floor if you let go of it, and are cheap. DSG used to sell a version of them too, but I order from Zahal from time to time. Some neat little stuff there. |
