Well, which is it? You should compare it to modern standards/market options.
I say the Ruger SR9c. __________________________________________________________________ Cross-platform gun database/electronic bound book (v1.3.2) (and the original thread). underrated (or rather under-appreciated): Any CZ made.
overrated: Every Walther I've ever touched. Also had great experiences with Taurus PT92s. |
|
CZ P07
Simply amazing feel, accuracy and reliability. For $400 ish. If every Glocktard tried one, the Earth would K-Boom from their combined epiphany. |
|
The Ruger P series pistols are some of the most underrated guns out there. Reliable and very affordable.
I disagree with the poster a few up. CZs USED to be very underrated, but they're getting the recognition they deserve now. ETA) Damn, beat by 24 seconds. |

5906 FOR THE WIN!!! |

S&W 3913 Especially now ....only surplus when you can find them. CZs are really nice pistols as well. |

semi-compact 9mm desert eagle Easily the most reliable gun I've ever owned. Its ugly though.

5906 FOR THE WIN!!! Another vote for 3rd gen here..but there were so many LE agencies using them I don't think they could be called underrated-more like they were overshadowed by the first glocks |

High Power This. In the under rates category, not necessarily under recognized. ETA: CZ is a good one too. |

Of All Time?
Probably going to have to go with the VP-70. Why? Because few people seem to realize that H&K invented the Glock. |

The H&K P7 series. It's an over-engineered mechanical watch that shoots bullets. What's not to love? I'm never going to part with my P7M8 Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Quoted: Ruger P series. +1 My dad gave me a stainless P95DC. I thought it was a touch clunky at first, but that thing is freaking bombproof. It is also accurate and has a good trigger. It feeds flawlessly from factory and aftermarket mags, and the mags are available at places like academy sports.

Most overrated handgun would be the Taurus Judge. There are damn few questions where the correct answer is ".410 birdshot"
Underrated would be the P series of Ruger pistols. |

CZ as a whole is becoming more recognized and appreciated every day, but far fewer people seem to appreciate the stellar beauty of the original pre-B. It truly is something to behold, what with the rounded trigger guard and smoother trigger pull due to the lack of a firing pin block. http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae167/Supergyro/large.jpg Add some aesthetically pleasing, grip enhancing stocks, such as the VZ Frags, (my personal favorite) and you are left with a world class handgun with style to burn. http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae167/Supergyro/CZ75-Frag-HB-2_L.jpg Damn good looking pistol man |
