Sometime last year when I was on vacation in California I was out looking for armadillos with my .22lr conversion and two of these things were about 50 yards from my cabin. Took aim and the Aguila 38gr Super Extra dropped it in its tracks.



Family seems to argue its a possum. I say its a coyote because of the dark tail.

When dealing with destructive varmits like crows, groundhogs and coyotes, yes. Most states are much more restrictive of furbearers like fox & martins.

In LA, Foxes may only be taken is season by trapping. Season closes in the end of spring.

I was thinking young coyote too until i noticed the black on its face and now im leaning toward it being a fox
