I'm going to have a similar pic tonight if that fox starts yelping like a stuck pig in the woods behind my house AGAIN
I was subjected to almost an hour of it last night, just after midnight |

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: I'm pretty sure its called poaching. Taking a furbearing animal out of season and unlawfull method of take. Home owners and property owners have rights in many states. When dealing with destructive varmits like crows, groundhogs and coyotes, yes. Most states are much more restrictive of furbearers like fox & martins. A quick glance at the regs show foxes are protected in LA. Uh oh, OP................ You best ask for a delete! Foxes can be dispatched here in OK as nuisance animals. Foxes are protected quadrupeds and may be taken only with traps by licensed trappers during the trapping season. Remainder of the year "chase only" allowed by licensed hunters. http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/sites/default/files/pdf/publication/31742-Hunting%20Regulations%20(Draft)/Hunting_Reg_Final.pdf |

Quoted: Definitely a coyote. Compare the ears and see how both foxes have additional "baffling" inside the ears and the coyotes don't.Don't fox typically have black legs and white on their chest? At least the Red Fox around here do. ETA: I'm thinking a juvenile coyote. I was out looking for armadillos with my .22lr conversion last night and two of these things were about 50 yards from my house. Took aim and the Aguila 38gr Super Extra dropped it in its tracks. Family seems to argue its a fox. I say its a coyote because of the dark tipped tail. http://media.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=21819 Unpossible!!!!! It's a well-known fact in GD hat a conversion kist isnt accurate enough to actually hit anything....... Good Shot..Looks like a Gray Fox to me |

ETA: lol, beat to it. |

Better watch out for Capt Redlegs, he just snitched out his neighbor about a pitbull that frightened him. You would be easy meat and bigger game for his snitchery.

So, in all seriousness, if a fox is on your land and threatening your animals, it's against the law to kill it? I'm getting sick and tired of people telling me that this is the land of the free...

I am surprised that nobody here knows a wolverine when they see one.

According to the media dog identification chart, it would appear that you have domed a pit bull of some sort.

You can tell by the fur that it is a larval stage chupacabra. Dude, this |

So are you an operator yet or still working traffic? Either way I'd have felt threatened, so good shoot.

I shot it about ten years ago near Amarillo with 12 ga dove load, and a taxidermist in Austin did the work. |

Well, it seems that Washington classifies them as game animals and sets a season. You also need a hunting licence. ETA: no season on coyotes. |

Quoted: Quoted: That's a fox. Was it bothering you? Checking out your livestock or something? I decided to take out this coyote because of the pets we brought with us on vacation it could have easily taken out our pets. I can see how you'd be rightfully terrified of one of nature's most perfect killing machines. |
