Copying an idea from GD that I found interesting, "Find your first post" on AR15.com. After all these years I had no idea what my first post was, and after the question was asked, I was curious, so I found it. Go to the bar of buttons just above the posts, click on "Archives", its right next to the search button. Going to the Archives, click on "Archive Search", then in "Get posts from" enter the month and year that you joined, and then the second date a few months or a year later, and search newer, then "Last post date" and then "Ascending Order", show results as "Posts", find "Post results by user" and enter your user name, under that "Post replies by user" then search "All Forums" Post them up! |

my first experience with a site sponsor was with Randall Rausch of AR15 Barrels fame. he had a stellar rep, nothing but good to say so i sent him the barrel off my brand new ban era Colt to thread for a flash hider.(early 2008, before Obamania 1) simple, simple job. unfortunately for me this is about the time he loses his M/F ing mind. over a year passes, my new Colt's just sitting there. i finally buy a replacement barrel (Colt, natch, it IS a brand new rifle), to the tune of $600 (full tilt frenzy/panic, parts/everything shortage by now) and a month later my long lost barrel shows up. epic 4 page thread in the EE. |

I thought that was a smoking deal since he charged me all of $20 to do it, and MSRP is just under $1100. |
