@hatr40 digging the thread, man! Nuance point: “SF” is a very specific term that means US Army Green Berets and nobody else. It would be akin to saying “SEAL communities”. you wanna change that thread title to “SOF” which is a globally encompassing term for all special operations forces?

I don't really think the threads purpose was suppose to be another clone thread, but it's turned into "Glocks of USSOCOM"

wish I knew, if I had to guess i'd say 2.5 but that is %100 just a guess. Also these were pulled from a recent article of  about gen millers glock "thedrive". Kinda dumb article but still cool, detailed photos. We might have seen them earlier though.

That's why I always chuckle when people get bent out of shape when they get a scratch on their Glock.

Everything can break. Just Glocks not often. Give a serviceman equipment that they don’t pay for or care about and it will get abused and destroyed.  I would say those guns where dropped off for service

What is the current MK27 suppressor?

The one that SOCOM is supposed to replace / issue new contract later this year.

I believe they used the AAC Evo-9 for a while and also the AAC TiRANT-9s.  Hopefully @Combat_Diver will chime in and give us some knowledge.

Have no information on which suppressor is used on the Mk27 Mod 2.  Nor have I've seen it.

https://www.ar15.com/forums/Handguns/G19-in-the-SF-communities-/13-179518/?page=13#i2225821

Notes in the above post on the Omega with information in the article through the last link. There is a pic with a bunch of handguns on a table with different cans. I haven’t dug through open source in a while to see if there’s any additional info, but I believe the perm replacement candidates for the old AAC cans were going through trials. I thought I came across a project timeline map that had t&e and fielding by 2022. Let me see what I can dig up.

These are unicorns, but just because there aren’t public photos doesn’t mean much.

Off topic, but I also haven’t seen any photos of the SR-16s that CAG are rumored to be running.

ETA: the timeline was from soldier systems, but did not include a project timeline map. The photo in the article shows an AAC Tirant, which I assume is current use.

All our Glocks including the 35s and 34 were milled direct. Old school, we did not have those options.

I'm not sure what front sights work with it, but the DPP has a cutout at the rear for this sight to attach to.

Those guns are issued with a Dawson fiber optic front of the appropriate height. SMA Grinston was pictured with one in this post on page 14.
