I hang drywall for a living, and I thought for sure I would have a funny response for that. But I got nothing. I guess drywall isn't as funny as I thought it was. Will post pic tomorrow............... |

Who did he say he was selling them to? What enemy of ours are you afraid will get ahold of his aircraft carrier? I'm more concerned about the British than the Russians at this stage, hell at least the Russians aren't trying to sneak heat-seekers into the states to shoot down our airliners. |
|
|
He said he was selling them to China. If you think China is trustworthy then I suggest you read up on the book "The China Threat". |
||
|
Ahh I see. Ok, I stand corrected. However, I'm more worried about their nukes than anything else. An aircraft carrier is a pretty serious bit of hardware though.

Guys, I think you missed it... Mecheng is standing on a missle destroyer, or patrolboat... I think he was trying to make a joke... Right, Mecheng??? |
|||
|
Nope, he isnt. I am not going into detail about what and who my sources are in the PRC. But they (PRC Navy) is buying from Russian through private delaers and this is one of them. This may not be an Aircraft carrier, but this saes like he described are being done. |

Bano,
Sorry to create such a controversy. As most of know there is a real art to drywall. I did a bunch last year finishing my cabin. Wish I could have had your advice. The picture of the aircraft carrier was joke. HA! HA! It's the Minsk which was home to 12 STOL jets and about 25 short range 1 megaton nukes. It mission obviously was to neutralize or surface fleet. It was sold for active duty to the North Koreans (Without Nukes?)and the sold to China for a tourist attraction in Shenzen (North of Hong Kong). On Serious note the Chinese own a real full size Russian aircraft carrier which is parked somewhere off the Coast near Bejing. This uncompleted aircarft carrier was sold to Chinese businessmen to be used as a floating hotel and casino off Hong Kong (yeah right). The Chinese expect to have their first operational aircraft carrier by 2015. And the way our GOVERNMENT is allowing our BUSINESSES to transfer TECHNOLGY to Chinese industry they will probably pull it off ahead off schedule. Don't blame me or businesses, it's the dip$hits you elected that some day are going to allow the Chinese government to exercie it's muscle. On good note the Chinese people themselves like Americans. |

I'm by no means a drywall expert.
Infact I've never done more than repairs, mostly attributed to drinking binges. It just happened to be the only inanimate object in the picture so thats what I chose. |

my god, duke that one is better than the one with the garand. this one is a keeper. Roanld

First you have to have a picture file to use. Next you have to place it online somewhere so it can be accessed, contact me if you need a host. Finally, add copy this line into your post. "[im*]your picture location here[/im*]" And that should be that. Editted to add, Where I put the text [im*} and [/im*] replace the "*" with a "g". I have to type it this way because if I type exactly what needs to be theere the silly computer goes off looking for an imagine instead of the text I am trying to put up. If this is confusing, click on "Board Code" on the upper right of the "Post Reply" screen. That should help. |

Metalman,
what kind of stock you have on your AK? Did you make it yourself? Looks cool. |
|
Mousegun,
Yes I did make it myself. I was trying to model it after the Galil para stock as well as the AR15 skeleton stock. However mine is fixed and I have no intention of making them folders, or as elaborate, or as expensive, as the ACE stocks that are out there. I am presently starting a run of 10 using SKS buttplates (They are a little bigger) which i will start on as the weather gets a little colder. (My job is really slow in the winter so I will have a LITTLE MORE TIME TO INVEST IN THEM). The actual stock is very easy to fabricate...the reciever block on the other hand is a little more involved, so I have been trying to find a way to production line the reciever blocks as quickly as possible. I like my stuff to be right the first time so i really am meticulous. http://www.gunsnet.net/album/data/3087/19682Copper29_AK_Kobra-med.JPG |

Yah, like I'm gonna post a pic of myself to be used in a photoshop army attack.
Especially if Ilikelegs and TheRedGoat get involved. Anyway, I'll eventually be able to make it to one of our shoots. -FOTBR |

Hey Metalman I've met you before at the Finger Lakes range, a few months ago I think. I remember we talked about how cool the Kobra sights were and you showed me your fabricated stock. Hell yes you should come to the next shoot dude!
