Dirtbags! Part 2!

Here's an update to the previous thread.

The neighbors are pissed off at me because the town put a boot to their throats over the trash/junk in the driveway and the four wheeler through the yard.

The kicker here is that I didn't even report them to the town. Another neighbor did. I only talked to their landlord who requested pictures which I sent him.

This all culminated this past Thursday when my landlord called my wife and her upset because the town sent my landlord a citation for the trash and junk. It upset my wife and pissed me off. I called my landlord and explained that it was not us but the neighbors do we should have never gotten the citation in the first place. I also called their landlord and laid into him, because we're not responsible for their shit, and then sent him a copy of the citation we received. I then called the town to explain what was going on. The zoning official apologized for the confusion and had said they've been getting a lot of complaints from other neighbors about these dirtbags and that the citation was sent in error to my landlord. Apparently the town did not know it was two properties on one parcel of land.

Their landlord just sent me an email and told me he talked to them; his tenants and they; the tenants are now pissed at my wife and I. The neighbors wife basically blamed us for everything that's going on. Their landlord isn't mad at us though.

I fucking hate neighbors. I keep telling myself, "A few more months.. "

It wasn't that bad.

As for the OP's situation, this is why I practice MYOB. I most certainly don't take pictures of my neighbor's yards.

I had a similar problem once. I had neighbors that I was friendly with. One day the neighbor woman asked me if I had seen their dog. They let it run lose all the time and sometimes it would come over and eat my dogs food, who was chained out when he ate. That other dog had a path beat down thru my yard where it went daily.

I answered no, it must not have been around, I noticed that my dogs food was not totally eaten for two days.

I told her to call the dog pound immediately because if they picked it up, you only have 2 days to claim it before they put it to sleep.

Well yeah they had picked it up because somebody called and complained and yes it had been put to sleep.

So the woman bitched at me for turning her dog in. She would not believe me when I denied it.

I had it figured out which neighbor did it, because he accused my dog of killing some of his sheep. My dog never ran lose. Both dogs were German Shepherds.

That sucks.

It's a fucked situation here because when they moved in we went out and introduced ourselves. Saw they had kids and tried to introduce our daughter to then because we figured they could be friends. Their kids were rude, made fun of her right off the bat. They've had parties all night, have had people hanging outside at weird hours. We'd say hi and try to talk to them. They've put junk mail they don't want in our mail box. They're just assholes.

So you say just a few more months. Are you looking at buying a house? I can't stress enough how much I prefer owning to renting. As others have said fences make great neighbors. I love my fully fenced in yard. The only problem would be if you may have to move out of the area, selling a house on top of starting a new job is a pain in the ass.

Yes, we're planning on buying a home down south. Preferably one with property and no neighbors.

I made some poor financial decisions in the past so have been fixing my credit. Went from 300 credit score to 730 in a few years. I almost have enough put away for 30% down. <img src=http://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Similar thing happened here. A neighbor let his dog run loose every morning and my wife complained that it was digging in her flower beds. Several days later it turned up dead. We are fairly certain we know who did it but the dog owner was absolutely positive we were the ones that killed his dog. That might be partly because I told him it was his own fault for letting his recently deceased dog run loose.

An Arfcom member (I don't remember his screen name) was complaining about people blocking his driveway. He posted pictures.

Turns out he was parking in his "weedy side yard" and expected the whole street to remain clear for him. He even put up the signs shown in the picture,

Much amusement was had!!!
